Taylor Swift gushes over Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album

Taylor Swift came back from her recent break from the public eye to gush over her friend Selena Gomez’s new joint album with fiancé Benny Blanco, “I Said I Love You First.”

“@selenagomez & @bennyblanco I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH,” the “Fortnight” singer, 35, wrote on her Instagram Story Saturday.

“OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD,” she added.

She also attached a link to the engaged couple’s album and posted a graphic of the cover.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star, 32, responded to Swift’s message with an equally kind sentiment saying, “Love you, Tay” in a repost on her page.

Swift has been known to hype her gal pal on occasion. She also celebrated Gomez’s engagement to Blanco, 37, on social media after the couple shared the happy news in December 2024.

The couple, who recently joked that they were “mortified” over their appearance at one of the pop star’s post-awards show after parties, released their joint project on Friday morning.

Fans were quick to speculate that she also shaded her ex, Justin Bieber, on the album with some of the lyrics in her song, “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten.”

“You’re so embarrassing / Go cry when no one’s watchin’ / I can’t imagine it / How does it feel to be forgotten (Ah), forgotten? (Ah-ah),” the lyrics read.

It’s speculated that the line is a specific call out to Bieber, who has been known to shed a few tears online recently.

Gomez follows the previous lyric up with another line that reads, “‘Cause you walked in, big-ass grin / Talkin’ like we’re friends, honey, what were you thinkin’? / He loves me, I love him / Look at you, just look at you now.”

The “Only Murders in the Building” star said something similar to the “Look at you, just look at you now” line in her 2020 song, “Look at Her Now,” which was believed to be about her 2018 split from Bieber.

However, Gomez attempted to preemptively shut down the rumors when she made clear in her Spotify Interview earlier this week that “most of this album has nothing to do with what everyone may go to.”

Gomez also sang about a cheating ex she wishes she had “never loved” on her song, “Young and Hotter Than Me,” which some believe she’s alluding to the nature of she and Bieber’s on-again, off-again romance that officially ended when Bieber married wife Hailey months after their final split.

She goes on to throw a few lusty lyrics toward her fiancé with some clever jabs about the music producers “big, big hard…Heart” on her track, “Sunset Blvd.”

The new project serves as Gomez’s first studio album in five years since 2020’s “Rare.”
