Tayshia Adams has swapped rose ceremonies for race-day miles.
The former “Bachelorette” recently completed the 2026 New York City Marathon, crossing the finish line of the legendary 26.2-mile race for the fourth time.
Along the course, the reality TV star greeted supporters with a smile while wearing a hot pink Maybelline T-shirt — she ran the marathon for the beauty brand — and carrying a compact belt bag.
So what did Adams rely on throughout the race and during her recovery? Here, she reveals six running and wellness essentials that helped carry her through marathon day and beyond.
“I truly can’t say enough about Feetures socks. I’ve worn them for around three years, and I’ve probably persuaded half the people I know to give them a try. They come in different cushioning levels and heights, which makes it easy to find the right fit. They’re supportive, stay in place and are so comfortable that I don’t have to think about them while I’m running — and that’s exactly what I want from a running sock. Every training season, I look forward to stocking up on fresh pairs. They’re that reliable.”

“This small tool is one of my go-to essentials. I’m not kidding when I say I have five of them throughout my house. We often overlook how much tension builds in our feet and how that discomfort can travel up through the legs. After a long run — or even a full day working in heels — I roll the bottoms of my feet before bed to loosen any tight areas. That simple routine has made a noticeable difference in how my feet feel during runs and in everyday life. I even bring one when I travel. I never want to be without it.”
“After preparing for four New York City marathons, I’ve realized that recovery and body care matter just as much as logging the miles. Everyday life brings its own aches and strain, whether it’s a long run, a hectic workday or a busy travel schedule. I like keeping Tylenol PrecisePain Relieving Patches nearby for targeted, temporary relief from minor muscle and joint pain. They’re clear and discreet, so I can apply one and continue with my day without giving it much thought. They remain in place for up to 12 hours, which is especially helpful when I’m constantly moving. It’s one of those useful items I always want in my bag because you never know when you’ll need it.”
“I’m completely hooked on this product. It has quickly become one of my favorite skin-care discoveries. It leaves my complexion looking radiant, hydrated and soft, yet it feels like I’m wearing nothing at all. Because my skin is sensitive, finding something that feels comfortable enough for workouts is a big deal. I also appreciate that it offers SPF 50, especially since I spend so much time running outdoors. The fact that it works as a makeup primer is an added bonus. I can wear it alone for a run and still feel polished, or apply makeup over it before a full day at work. It makes getting ready much easier, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. It’s a must-have.”
“These are fantastic for training. There’s something special about settling into a great playlist during a long run, but as someone who lives and runs in New York City, I also need to stay aware of my surroundings. That’s what I appreciate most about these headphones: I can listen to music without completely disconnecting from everything around me. They’re incredibly light, offer excellent battery life and feel so comfortable that I sometimes forget they’re on. I can also wear them with sunglasses and a running hat without feeling weighed down. And they come in some really fun colors.”
“Marathon training has taught me plenty, but one of the most important lessons has been figuring out which fuel works for my stomach. That can be a journey all its own. This was my first year using SiS gels, and they’ve been a great discovery. I can have a sensitive stomach when fueling during a run, but these worked well for me and helped sustain my energy over longer distances. Raspberry lemon-lime electrolyte is the flavor I’ve purchased most often. My biggest advice is to test your fuel well before race day and stick with what works for your body — never experiment with something new during the race.”
