Teddi Mellencamp has just been hit with devastating health news.

Amid her split from her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave, 47, and after multiple bouts with skin cancer, doctors have found that the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has “multiple tumors” on her brain, two of which require immediate surgery.

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization … After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least [six months] … Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today — the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” Teddi shared with her fans and followers on Instagram on February 12.

“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses[,] and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she continued. “Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”

Teddi also shared a message with her fans and followers on her Instagram Story, along with a photo of herself in bed.

“Counting down the minutes until my babies get here,” she wrote, signaling daughters Slate and Dove, and son Cruz.

Teddi then shared the reaction her dad, musician John Mellencamp, 73, had to the news.

“As my dad said this am, God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be okay.”

Teddi Mellencamp was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from season eight through season 10.
