Teddi Mellencamp and her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, laughed about the reason for their divorce in a series of posts shared to her Instagram Story on Tuesday.

As the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum also confirmed her return to her shared podcast with Tamra Judge, 57, Two Ts in a Pod, she and Edwin, 47, suggested they split for financial reasons as Teddi revealed where Edwin was planning to live post-split and joked about finding “her replacement.”

“All of you guys that keep messaging, ‘Why are you guys getting a divorce?’ I mean, other than the fact that he’s wearing this ridiculous sweater in the pouring rain, this video perfectly sums it up,” Teddi explained as she played a clip from Entourage on Edwin’s phone.

“I ask for one hour out of the day for his undivided attention, and I can’t even have that,” Perrey Reeves‘ character, Melissa Gold, complained to her husband, Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven, 59.

Once the clip ended, Edwin admitted, “Sometimes you gotta take some calls,” as Teddi agreed, “That was us.”

Edwin also shared the clip on his Story, along with the message, “Little laughter before the [first] day of immunotherapy treatment.”

Then, in a second clip shared to her Story, Teddi further detailed her status with Edwin.

“To be very clear, there was no nine-week Tuscan vacation. I was lucky to squeeze a three-day Cabo [trip] once a year. And, we live in Encino, which is pretty darn close to Agoura Hills,” she shared, signaling her and Edwin’s $6.49 million home.

“Five-day vacations are my jam and you got a side of Hollywood Hills,” Edwin replied. “I had you in Hollywood Hills.”

In response, Teddi confirmed their $5.9 million Hollywood Hills home would be where Edwin would live after their split.

“You get to be moving back to Hollywood Hills, and it will be your home cause it was inappropriate for children,” she stated.

“I knew there was a reason why I kept that house,” he clapped back. 

Also in the clip, Teddi complained that Edwin was “making [her] late to [her] first immunotherapy appointment.”

“I told him traffic would be bad. Did he believe me? No,” she declared.

Still, in a caption, she described Edwin as a “pretty good divorce buddy.”

“[He was] such a douche lord at first but once your ex wife almost dies he saw the light. I am funny. Not jealous and good at helping him pick my replacement,” she explained.

In a third post on her Instagram Story, Teddi included a screenshot of a recent chat with her podcast producers and said, “Work starts back Wednesday and my producers couldn’t be more excited.”

“Podcast setup and mics and chairs are still all there and good at the house yes?” a producer had asked in a text message.

“I haven’t touched one thing. No idea about set up but I weirdly haven’t been moving around furniture … [because] for [six] months my brain was broken and didn’t remember how to be a sarcastic a**hole,” Teddi replied.
