Rekindling family connections seems to be a theme lately. Not long after mending ties with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice has shared another piece of heartwarming news on her podcast: she has also reconciled with her cousin, Kathy Wakile.

On the December 4th episode of her podcast, Teresa, from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, talked about the process of making amends with Kathy.

The mention of Kathy came up as Teresa was explaining one of her main motivations for wanting to patch things up with her brother Joe during her podcast, Turning the Tables by Teresa Giudice.

“My brother is really the only family I have here, besides Kathy and Rosie. They are the only family I have in New Jersey,” Teresa expressed. “So yes, of course, I wanted to reconcile with my brother because he is my only blood relative.”

“I mean, my brother’s like my only family, you know, besides, you know, Kathy and Rosie. Like those are my only family in New Jersey. Like that’s the only family I have,” she stated. “So, did I want to make up with my brother? Yes, cause he’s my only and he’s my blood, you know”

Teresa continued, “I mean, I did reach out to Kathy too. She was very nice. You know, her daughter’s having a baby. So, I was so happy for her. Yeah. So, you know, it was very nice.”

She also added that since reaching out to Kathy, her cousin has also made an effort to mend their relationship.

“And then Kathy sent a beautiful text to both of us, to me and my brother,” shared Teresa. “She’s saying, ‘I’m so happy you guys made up. You know, that’s great. It was cool. It was cool seeing you guys back together.’”

Earlier this year, Kathy got into a little tiff with Melissa after Melissa appeared on Jeff Lewis’s SIRIUS XM show and suggested she would be open to having lunch with Kathy. Kathy later spoke out that she and Melissa had already had lunch and had cleared the air suggesting Melissa wasn’t being honest.

Melissa however clapped back at Kathy by revealing she chose not to reveal their secret lunch because Kathy had asked her not to publicize the fact that they met up.

And just this October, a Radar Online report came out alleging Teresa had initially tried to team up with Kathy in hopes Bravo would bring them back on RHONJ to go against Melissa and Joe.

Despite the claims in the report, things appear to be going well for Teresa and the Gorgas as they recently had dinner this week alongside Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas.
