Kim “D” DePaola has shared that a friend of Teresa Giudice, who was under consideration for a role on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, allegedly contacted Margaret Josephs to mediate a peace between Teresa and Margaret. This effort reportedly occurred before Teresa reconciled with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga.

In a recent discussion on Reality Court, Margaret hinted that a friend of Teresa’s had once conveyed Teresa’s interest in mending their relationship. The longstanding feud between Margaret and Teresa escalated dramatically when Margaret criticized Teresa’s husband, Luis Ruelas, on national television, which purportedly led to him losing his job.
Appearing on Get Real with Kim D, Kim elaborated on her earlier statements.
“One of Teresa’s friends, who was considered for the show, reached out to Margaret before Teresa patched things up with Melissa and Joe,” Kim explained. “The friend claimed she could facilitate a truce between Teresa and Margaret, and this was said in front of multiple people, not just the two of them. This is entirely true.”
“One of Teresa’s friends — who was [being] considered for the show — had reached out to Margaret before this reconciliation [with Melissa and Joe],” said Kim. “[The friend said] that she could broker … the deal between Teresa and Margaret. And this was said in front of a number of people, not just the two of them. This is 100 percent true.”
Some fans think Margaret is trying to play nice with Teresa now that she and Melissa are on good terms – as the future of RHONJ will likely center around the sisters-in-law.
Last month on Ana Quincoces and Ace Fanning’s Reality Court podcast, Margaret reacted to rumors that she may not be asked back next season.
“I’ll put it this way … there’s been no phone calls from Bravo. They have not solidified the cast,” she said at the time. “There’s a lot of rumors out there. Nothing has been solidified. I think it could go in any direction.”
“I cannot put myself in a dangerous situation, I will say that,” she went on. “And I do not feel comfortable being around certain people — and I’m not talking about Teresa, but I am talking about certain people that she’s related to.”
She then addressed Teresa and Joe’s reconciliation.
“They [have] made up. They’re family members,” she stated. “And I think that they came to a resolution that, you know, they wanted to make up. I don’t even know what else to say. I guess that’s what it was, I think.”
