Teresa Giudice revealed her daughter Gabriella Giudice was accepted into the University of Michigan. When Real Housewives of New Jersey began in 2009, Gabriella was a small child running around the house with her sisters.

Audiences have seen the ups and downs of the Giudice family, including the parents’ prison sentences after they pleaded guilty to fraud. Following their release, the couple divorced after Joe Giudice was deported to Italy.

In a Friday night Instagram post, via allaboutrh.com, Teresa shared the big news with her followers. Her happy 18-year-old was showered with blue and yellow balloons and flowers.

Gabriella is usually private, and Teresa posts few photographs of her on social media.

“My beautiful Gabriella, you never cease to amaze me. I’m so proud of what you’ve accomplished. We all see the amount of effort and hard [work] you put into everything you do! I’m a super proud mom today and every day. Love you beyond words,” said the star. She also shared an image of Gabriella’s excellence certificates, which she earned at school.

According to her sister Gia, Gabriella will be speaking up in the upcoming season.

“My sister Gabriella is very private, but this season … you’ll see! She finally spoke, because she was like, ‘Nobody ever sees me speak my opinion on this show, so for me to actually speak it now will speak volumes.’ Because she doesn’t usually speak on it,” said Gia on In the Know.

“I was really proud of her for doing that,” Gia added.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 premieres Tuesday, February 7, at 9/8c on Bravo.
