The Bachelor fans love Nick Viall, and rightfully so. Viall struggled to find love in the Bachelor television shows and appeared on several seasons of the reality dating shows. He was first introduced to fans in the 10th season of The Bachelorette, in which he was the runner-up. Viall then returned in the following season of The Bachelorette and was again the second choice of the bachelorette. He had a short stint on Bachelor in Paradise before becoming the bachelor in The Bachelor’s 21st season. Though he proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi, the two split in August 2017.

Nick Viall appeared on numerous adaptations within Bachelor Nation. He was first introduced to audiences on season 10 of The Bachelorette, and he went on to appear in season 11 of the show, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor.
After separating from Vanessa Grimaldi from his season of The Bachelor, however, Viall swore off dating women from Bachelor Nation. He revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in July 2021 that he “made a conscious decision to not in any way, shape or form, romantically or otherwise, be involved with anyone from Bachelor Nation.” He stated this after he was already publicly linked to Natalie Joy, a surgical technologist who has no part in Bachelor Nation.

On January 12th, 2023, Nick Viall and Natalie Joy announced via a joint post on Instagram that they were engaged. He proposed with a ring from Brilliant Earth, and they captioned the photo “For the rest of my life, it’s you.”
