There are a variety of ways to make a good reality television series. Humor helps the audience become endeared to the cast. Viewers should always be enticed to tune into the next episode, so suspense is key. But drama is without question the most important component of all.

Summer House has mastered this art form for nine seasons. The series has spared no expense when it comes to capturing the interest of reality fans. This was even more evident when their Season 9 reunion had to be split into two parts. The second part of the reunion shocked viewers with its many revelations.

Lexi Apologized To Ciara And Revealed Her True Feelings About Jesse

Despite patching things up with West, Ciara still had some issues to work out with Lexi. During a recent press tour, Lexi accused Jesse and Ciara of skipping her birthday. The reason? She said the two of them wanted to spend time with each other instead. There was even an Instagram post showing Jesse and Ciara at brunch. However, this was taken on a different day than Lexi’s party.

“I’m very sorry that you were dragged into it,” Lexi told Ciara. “Jesse’s the one posting it, Jesse’s the one liking comments; shipping this relationship between you two … it was more towards what Jesse posts.” Ciara replied, “All that smoke should be directed at Jesse.”

According to The Daily Dish, there was a sincere moment between Lexi and Ciara during the first filming break. This happened when other cast members left the couch, but the cameras kept rolling. Lexi took the opportunity to talk to Ciara some more about how she feels about what took place. She even apologized once again.

Lexi elaborated on her apology, saying, “I am truly sorry. I genuinely did not mean for you to ever get caught in the crossfire. I think that [Jesse] did and said a lot of things that made me feel like you were into him. But I am very sorry, and I would genuinely love a friendship with you in the future, whenever you are ready for that.”

Ciara replied, “I appreciate that.”

Lexi then set her sights on Jesse when she accused him of saying that Paige, Amanda, and Ciara wanted them to split. Therefore, instead of bonding with the girls, Lexi sided with Jessie. He said, “You’re making me sound like some mastermind.” Ciara jokingly said that he wouldn’t be accused of such a thing.

Even though Ciara didn’t seem to be phased, Paige and Amanda reacted with shock. Both women revealed they wished she had reached out to them because they liked her. However, there doesn’t seem to be enough room for Lexi to bed rot with these three.

Jesse proceeded to apologize to Lexi. Lindsay then said that Lexi and Jesse cared more about the way they were perceived than the relationship itself. It turns out, the rest of the group all agreed with her. This no doubt delighted viewers.

Host Andy Cohen asked if a friendship between Lexi and Jesse would be possible in the future. While Jesse was open to the idea, Lexi said that would never happen. She responded, “Yeah, I’m good.” Unfortunately, viewers won’t get to see Lexi on another season of Summer House after she announced her departure after just one season.

Lindsay Shocked The Group With Her Announcement Regarding Her Relationship With Turner

Lindsay certainly seemed to have one of the best summers of her life. Andy told her he thought she was “cool as a cucumber, and dare I say, soft?” Lindsay spoke about Turner, with whom she had been coparenting. Lindsay said that Turner was a better father “than I ever could have expected,” and emphasized their five-month-old daughter was their priority. “We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,” she revealed. “We are just focused on being the best parents we can possibly be to Gemma. We are coparents, we are an amazing team.”

The cast reacted with shock at this announcement. Gabby said “it is hard to tell” that the two weren’t together anymore. West even mentioned that he had been with them the previous week and “didn’t clock it” at all. “Yeah, because you wouldn’t,” Lindsay told him. “We are like the best of friends. Even on the weekend, when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends.”

According to Lindsay, Turner spends the night “half the week” at her apartment, but said nothing was going on. The reality star insisted they are not “friends with benefits” or even seeing anyone else. “We’ll see what happens in the future,” she added. “But as of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once.”

Amanda complimented Turner for being so supportive of Lindsay and Gabby praised Lindsay for making “a mature decision.”

“We’ve had discussions about it, and I feel like she was like, Turner’s such a great dad to Gemma but he’s not the person romantically for me,” Gabby said. “I think that’s a level of maturity to realize instead of trying to make it work just to stay a family, it’s like, I’m gonna try to find somebody else who can be the man for me and not the dad, because Gemma already has a dad.”

According to Lindsay, the two were trying to find the right balance between being public and private, but everything seemed to be going well for them. Andy asked Lindsay what she would tell the version of herself from the beginning of the series. She said, “That you just have to trust the universe. It’s not going to go the way you think or plan it to go … it’s all going to work out.”

Amanda And Kyle Opened Up About Why They Haven’t Had Children Yet

Andy then asked Kyle and Amanda what their secret was to getting along better this season, since the two seemed to be better than ever. Kyle said, “It’s all about patience … we did a better job of kind of hashing it out in a civil manner instead of letting it fester.” Kyle’s behavior improving seemed to have a lot to do with it also.

The two communicated what needed to improve in the relationship. Kyle said that he needed to stop escaping to the Hamptons and be more present in the relationship. He admitted that’s where he would go to for release.

Something the couple is looking at, however, is having a child. They both say it’s something they want, but it isn’t the right time yet. Amanda said that she felt “frustration” at the way Kyle brought up the subject throughout Season 9. Why did she feel so frustrated? Well, she said it was because he was talking about it to everyone but her.

“There was a lot of stuff on this season that was like, him wanting to be a father, and, like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but he’s having this conversation with other people, and not the person that’s supposed to carry his child,” she explained. “So if he was actively [saying], ‘Hey, I want to have kids. Like, we should start trying to have kids,’ that would be different. That’s not a conversation that we’re having.”

Kyle also worked way too much, and it was beginning to look like fatherhood wasn’t as high of a priority. He said, “Everything that I’m doing is to build a future.” Amanda replied, “There will be no future if all he does is work.” “[Kyle has] been DJing, he’s gone every weekend,” she continued. “Like, in what world exactly? I know that he wants to be a father one day, but I know he’s not ready. And if he was ready, you know, I think he would be like, ‘I’m ready to have a family.’”

Amanda said her biological clock was ticking, though, and things would have to happen soon if they had more than one child.

Lindsay, meanwhile, confirmed that she would be back next summer. The group cheered the conclusion of the special with a toast from Kyle. He said, “To friends, to family, and to coming together again this coming summer.”
