Prepare for an unexpected twist on February 25, during Spice Girls Night on The Masked Singer, as a former contestant from season 14, who many believe left the stage too early, makes a surprising return—this time as a guest panelist. The current season features the familiar faces of panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora, with Nick Cannon hosting the lively competition.
Thus far, the identities of seven out of the 18 mysterious celebrities on The Masked Singer season 14 have been unveiled. Among those revealed are David Ortiz as Googly Eyes, Todd and Julie Chrisley as Croissants, Tiffany Haddish as Le Who Who, Tone Lōc as Handyman, Taraji P. Henson as Scarab, Claudia Oshry as Queen Corgi, and Teddi Mellencamp as Calla Lily. Additionally, viewers have discovered that Cat Witch is none other than Kylie Cantrall, who is providing exclusive behind-the-scenes insights throughout the season as America’s Insider.
With the competition heating up, eleven contestants remain in the running, including Cat Witch, 14 Karat Carrot, Crane, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Owl, Pangolin, Pugcasso, Snow Cone, and Stingray, each vying for the coveted title.

Which Masked Singer Season 14 Contestant Is Returning As A Guest Judge?
According to a FOX press release, (shared by The Futon Critic), The Masked Singer will welcome back eliminated season 14 contestant Taraji P. Henson, who was Scarab, on Spice Girls Night on February 25. Taraji won’t be rejoining the competition, but instead will serve as a guest panelist, as the contestants sing iconic hits from the legendary girl group. Taraji was the most decorated contestant in Masked Singer history, with over 35 awards, including a Golden Globe.
Spice Girls Night will follow several other extraordinary theme nights, including Fear Night, Clueless Night, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night, Red, White and Clue Night, and Twilight Night. Other upcoming theme nights will be Care Bears Night, Ozzfest, honoring the late rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, and Star Trek Night, celebrating the classic show’s 60th anniversary.
Taraji P. Henson’s Masked Singer Season 14 Journey As Scarab
Taraji made her debut as The Masked Singer season 14’s Scarab on Premiere Night when she wowed everyone with her spectacular rendition of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.” She returned on Clueless Night and performed a sensational slowed-down version of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” However, Taraji left the show in a double elimination, along with Tone Lōc, who was Handyman.
Only Rita guessed Taraji’s true identity. The other panelists’ final guesses were Regina King (Robin), Angela Bassett (Jenny), and Cynthia Erivo (Ken). After one of Taraji’s performances, she shared that she joined the show because the panelists had guessed her as other contestants so many times before that she thought she’d finally make an appearance.
It’s going to be thrilling to see Taraji return to The Masked Singer as a guest panelist in the same season in which she competed as Scarab. It’s a very fun surprise. She’ll be able to give some new insights into the contestants’ identities, and maybe even pick up on some clues that Robin, Jenny, Ken, and Rita might’ve missed. Many fans thought that Taraji was eliminated from the competition much too early, so this is an incredible way to get the legend back on The Masked Singer season 14.
