Season 2 of The Valley has officially wrapped, and it’s safe to say it delivered nonstop drama. From backstabbing friendships to chaotic relationships, and one man mysteriously not wearing his wedding ring, the San Fernando Valley proved to be as messy as ever.
The last episode ended with Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor going toe-to-toe about their divorce proceedings and how they will co-parent their son, Cruz. However, Jax’s actions proved to Brittany that he isn’t a changed man, despite being in rehab for most of the season. Meanwhile, Janet Caperna has a hard time with the “fan” insult thrown out by Kristen Doute. On the lighter note, Kristen got engaged to Luke Broderick — which was truly a special moment caught on camera.
“Disaster After Disaster”
The final and last episode of Season 2 of The Valley kicks off with a Vanderpump Rules alum introducing her baby to the cast. Lala Kent introduces her daughter, Sosa, to Michelle Saniei, Brittany Cartwright, and Janet Caperna at her home. Brittany shares what happened the other day with Jax Taylor, when she asked him to cover half of their son’s medical bills. It only escalated when Jax said he would be going after her and her money if she tried to take full custody of Cruz. “It’s just been disaster after disaster,” she tells the ladies.
After hearing that Jax wants to take Brittany’s money because she earns more, Lala quips, “Well, yeah, you make more money because a cocaine addiction is expensive, so I suggest you give it up.”
Additionally, Janet spills to Lala about how much heat she got in Hawaii, especially by Kristen. She tells her that Kristen called her a “whore,” threatened to beat her up, and called her a “fan.” (However, Janet admitted she was a fan of VPR in an interview, so…). But, what Janet says afterward doesn’t make her any better.
“I’d love for her to hit me. I would love nothing more than jail to take you away from your engagement for the night and put it in a little plastic baggie while you sit in your cell for punching me in the face,” she tells them.
Meanwhile, all the boys head to Jax’s “Bachelor Pad” and Danny Booko is the only one not present. Too much surprise, Jax has an issue with Danny, calling him “too-faced” and sharing a story about Danny getting way too drunk at his bar that Jason Caperna would love to tell Janet when he gets home.
Michelle And Jesse Finally Find Resolution
Jesse Lally is ready to put his feud with his former wife, Michelle, aside. This whole season, fans have watched these two tear each other apart. The former couple have a rather calm conversation, which is a first. Jesse breaks down in tears, admitting that he’s “tired” of this situation and even expressing that he’s taken “accountability” for their marriage fallout. It’s really a breath of fresh air seeing these two hash things out.
“This is the first time Jesse is taking accountability. Today is the best first step I can ask for.”
Michelle hopes that they can one day be friends for the sake of their daughter. She even invites Jesse to her Zen party — hoping that the group can find some sort of peace.
Kristen Discusses Her Fertility Journey
Brittany is finally settling back into her home, proudly placing a new doormat that reads “The Cartwrights.” Kristen stops by, and the two catch up, quickly turning the conversation to Kristen’s fertility journey. She shares that she and Luke have been trying for a baby, but so far, haven’t had any success. After a visit to the doctor, Kristen was prescribed medication for infertility, a word that hit her hard. Through tears, she opens up about her fear of being just another statistic due to her age and admits she’s terrified that she may never get the chance to become a mother.
“To swallow the word infertile, it just feels like so out of left field.”

We then get an update on Zack Wickham and Benji. Benji’s divorce finalization just so happens to land on Zack’s birthday, but what matters most is that the two can now move forward with their lives, with Zack even admitting that he might see wedding bells in their future. Zack also shares that he’s pretty upset with his bestie, Brittany, for continuing to side with Janet. “I would have dropped Janet forever ago,” he shares.
Tranquility Gone Wrong
Michelle’s Zen party starts off on a positive note as the group gathers to read affirmations for one another. But the calm doesn’t last long. Jax pulls Brittany aside to pitch his idea of getting cameras installed in his house so Brittany can see Cruz, but the conversation quickly spirals into a tense discussion about their divorce. Jax has the audacity to suggest that Brittany won’t be able to maintain their former home because it’s too expensive. Brittany swiftly shuts him down, reminding him that the situation is a result of his actions, and now that she’s earning more than him, she’s more than capable of handling things on her own.
At the end of their heated discussion, Jax tells Brittany that he will wait “up to the very last day” to sign their divorce papers, continuing to put a strain on their relationship. “Jax went from my very best friend to a person I loathe.”
Maybe the crystal was kicking in, because Janet suddenly decided to confront Nia Booko. She apologizes for previously claiming that Danny “sexually assaults” women—a serious accusation—and the two ultimately agree to take a break from their friendship. But, Nia isn’t falling for Janet’s apology.
Meanwhile, the crystals clearly aren’t working on Jax, who seems laser-focused on taking down Danny. Convinced that Nia and Danny’s marriage can’t possibly be as great as it seems, Jax feels the need to expose Danny’s drinking habits. Here we go again.
Confronting Danny, Jax shares, “I’m not saying your not a great father, but you’re a terrible drunk.” But is Jax really in a position to call anyone out, especially considering everything he’s put Brittany through?
“We all know Jax has bigger problems than anger. If anybody’s hiding things, it’s Jax,” Danny shares in a confessional, and he’s right. Additionally, Danny decides to expose rumors that Jax “allegedly” sleeps with his bar staff.
Good thing the crystals worked on Danny because he was calm, cool and collective throughout the whole ordeal.
After Jax leaves, Danny and Nia break the fourth wall after Nia tells her husband that the cameras caught their feud, in which Jax alleged he had inappropriately touched two women at Jax’s bar.
“There is not enough crystals in this world to heal this group right now,” Jasmine shares.
The end of the last episode sees the cast continue to feud with one another and, really, it’s been worse than how the summer started. Kristen and Janet come to blows (no surprise) with Kristen making it clear that Janet has been the one stirring the pot this entire summer.
But things take an even worse turn when the night ends with a fight between the two best friends. Zack breaks down and finally tells Brittany how hurt he is that she hasn’t stood up for him, and instead seems to be siding with Janet. Brittany, on the other hand, feels completely caught in the middle, torn between two people she cares about.
