On January 5, 2023, it was confirmed that Lisa Rinna, was bidding farewell to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons.
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” Rinna said in a statement. “It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!”
Rinna has been a controversial figure since joining the franchise in its fifth season. The actress was involved in one of the show’s most memorable fights when she threw a glass of wine at Kim Richards, who’d eluded that Lisa was avoiding talking about her husband’s, Harry Hamlin, secrets.
After weighing her options and business obligations, Lisa Rinna and Bravo mutually decided not to return to the Bravo show. As expected, many housewives have come out to comment on her departure from the show.

Lisa Rinna took to Instagram after the shocking news was released. “We had a good run. Love you! See you soon!” she wrote in a caption alongside a still from her time on the Bravo show.
A host of housewives across different franchises commented including Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Margaret Josephs and Kim Zolciak-Biermann. Her good friend and cast mate Erika Jayne replied by saying “GOAT Love you Lisa.”
Back in August, Rinna deleted most of her RHOBH related photos from Instagram and posted about life “after” her time on the series comes to an end.
“I was Lisa F–king Rinna before HW and I’ll be Lisa F–king Rinna After,” the actress captioned a throwback photo from the red carpet. There have long rumors that Rinna would be fired after she spent most of the recent season feuding with Kathy Hilton.

Quickly after the announcement, Lisa Rinna’s former cast mate Lisa Vanderpump seemingly threw shade at the actress. She tweeted “Ding dong,” which fans believe was a reference to “Ding dong the witch is dead” from The Wizard of Oz.
The duo were involved in a bitter feud when Rinna accused Vanderpump of setting up cast members and orchestrating storylines in 2019.

Kyle Richards liked a tweet shading Lisa Vanderpump after she commented on Lisa Rinna’s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The former friends had a very public falling out on the show.
“Why didn’t you comment about vivienne westwood and have to comment on this?” read a Tweet Richards liked, referring to the recent death of iconic British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
Kyle shared an Instagram Story that read, “an apology without change is just manipulation,” not long after Rinna’s departure was announced.

Erika Jayne believes her friend and co-star is irreplaceable on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
When asked by TMZ on Friday who could “fill those shoes,” the singer, replied, “They can’t. She’s the GOAT. She’s the f****** GOAT.” Erika and Lisa have been very close on the recent season of the show, despite Erika’s ongoing legal issues.
“I’m going to miss Lisa very much,” the 51-year-old added. “I mean, obviously, I think she’s a very close friend of mine in my personal life, so you know, I will still see her, but she will be missed and I think everyone will feel it.”

On Friday, January 6, 2023, fans believed Garcelle Beauvais’ was throwing shade toward Lisa Rinna’s exit after she shared a video on Instagram showing off her new red hairstyle to the tune of Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing.”
