On a recent broadcast of the “Today” show, hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones took a moment to discuss the concerning situation regarding Savannah Guthrie’s mother, who has gone missing.

“Behind the cameras, we’re all feeling unsettled,” Jones remarked during Tuesday’s edition of “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle.”

She explained that while they are aware of their professional responsibilities, the team functions like a family. “It’s not just a phrase we throw around. We’ve all been a bit on edge,” she added.

Jones shared that many of the team members have been struggling to sleep since learning about the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie from her residence in Arizona. She expressed their collective concern for Savannah’s mother.

“I woke up this morning feeling anxious,” Jones admitted, revealing that she immediately checked her phone for updates. The first notification she encountered was Savannah’s heartfelt appeal on social media, seeking support.

“I promise you, it gave me this peace,” she shared. “Leave it up to Savannah to impart and remind us of who we are. If she can have faith in a moment like this and ask for prayers, then we are going to give it to her and be reminded by her.”

“What Nancy gave Savannah but also her two other children is this deep and abiding faith and goodness and optimism,” Bush Hager added.

“When I had my son, I asked, ‘Who is the most faithful person I know? Who could lead him and his path?’ And it’s Savannah.”

Bush Hager, who read Savannah’s post on the air, also revealed that Nancy was “one of the first members” of her book club.

“She is a woman who is loved deeply by everyone here at ‘Today,’” she said.

“I joked with Savannah that Nancy was one of the first members of my book club,” Bush Hager continued, noting that Nancy “always reads what I send her.”

“She is an avid reader. She loves mahjong, which is the reason why Savannah and I started.”

Nancy was last seen Saturday evening following a family dinner — she sparked concern and was reported missing at around 11 a.m. Sunday, when she failed to show up for church services.

It’s believed that Savannah’s mother was “taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night,” a Pima Country Sheriff’s Department spokesperson previously told Page Six.

“That includes possible kidnapping or abduction,” they added. “This is an elderly woman in her mid-80s who suffers from ailments… she couldn’t go 50 yards.”

Though she is of “sound mind” and “sharp as a tack,” according to 911 dispatch audio obtained by Fox News on Tuesday, she “has high blood pressure, [a] pacemaker and cardiac issues” that make locating her urgent.

Page Six reported on Monday that Savannah, 54 — who was set to host the 2026 Olympic Winter Games opening ceremony on Friday in Italy — was pulling out of the event amid the family crisis.

“There is no way Savannah will be there,” an NBC source told us.
