Tom Holland Set to Earn Over $100 Million for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day

The financial trajectory of Tom Holland’s career has hit a new milestone, with reports suggesting he could earn over $100 million for his role in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

According to insiders familiar with the negotiations between Holland, Sony Pictures, and Marvel Studios, the actor, now 30, secured a base fee of at least $20 million for taking center stage as the friendly neighborhood superhero, as confirmed by The Wrap.

This hefty sum surpasses his previous paycheck by $10 million, which he received for his portrayal of Peter Parker in 2021’s blockbuster, “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

Beyond his substantial upfront salary, the “Odyssey” star also stands to gain a hefty boost from potential backend bonuses, estimated to propel his total earnings to the $100 million mark.

Crucially, there’s no ceiling on these backend bonuses, meaning Holland’s final earnings could soar even higher, with no definitive cap to constrain his potential windfall.

“He will make at least” $100 million, a source reportedly told the outlet of Holland’s potential final payday.

Page Six has reached out to representatives for Sony Pictures and Holland for comment.

The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film debuted in theaters on July 31 and is now in its third week.

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” had a gangbusters opening weekend, setting a record $360 million domestic debut out of its $932 million worldwide box office total, Variety reports.

It cleared $1 billion worldwide after just six days on the big screen.

Holland’s fourth solo outing as the web-slinging superhero has officially crossed the $2 billion mark worldwide, becoming the second-fastest film to reach the threshold, per Deadline.

By hitting this milestone, the film joins an elite club of just seven other films to do so.

Past films to achieve the landmark include 1994’s “Titanic,” 2009’s “Avatar,” 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War,” 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” 2022’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” and 2025’s “Ne Zha 2.”

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is currently chasing the domestic box office crown, which is held by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” It’ll have to also surpass “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Avengers: Endgame” to get there.

The press lead-up to the film’s release saw Zendaya, Holland’s wife and co-star, stunning in black, white and red looks as she zipped around the world doing promotion.

The movie also introduced Sadie Sink into the superhero fold.

In the months leading up to the film, there was much speculation on who the “Stranger Things” alum would be playing. When fans finally got to see the film, her character was finally confirmed.

Comic book fans can now turn their attention to the highly anticipated “Avengers: Doomsday,” set for release Dec. 18.

Page Six Hollywood previously reported that “Iron Man” actor Robert Downey Jr. will earn a $100 million paycheck for both “Doomsday” and next year’s “Avengers: Secret Wars,” in which he plays Victor von Doom — aka Doctor Doom.
