On a recent episode of their podcast, Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s estranged husband, Tommy Feight, launched a fiery critique against her mother, Vida Javid. The broadcast, which aired on Friday, involved Tommy delivering an unrestrained tirade against his mother-in-law while also commenting on his tumultuous relationship with MJ.

During the podcast, Tommy, aged 53, who shares a six-year-old son named Shams with the former Shahs of Sunset star, described MJ as “crazy” and expressed that their separation was not his decision. He also voiced concerns about his mental well-being amidst their ongoing custody battle and prenup discussions. In his rant, he referred to Vida disparagingly as “Darth Vida.”

“She’s not a good mom. She’s just not,” Tommy declared on the December 5 episode of Till The Dirt with MJ and Tommy, as reported by the Sarah from Texas podcast. He continued by questioning Shams’ safety if left in Vida’s care, joking, “Darth Vida’s gonna like, she’d give him a carton of cigarettes, a handgun, and a crack pipe to play with if the kid asked for it.” He added that Vida’s inability to navigate stairs could pose a danger if Shams were unsupervised upstairs.

Despite his harsh words, Tommy admitted that he finds some amusement in Vida’s antics, referring to her with a sense of humor as “Darth Vida.”

That said, Tommy admitted that he gets “a kick out of Darth Vida.”

“She makes me laugh. She’s a decent grandmother. She’s not a great grandmother. Like I said, she f*cking, there’s some sh*t she won’t do. She’s never changed a diaper in her life,” he clarified.

At another moment on the show, Tommy said he didn’t know “why the f*ck this crazy lady” was doing what she was doing, proceeding to call MJ “batsh*t crazy” before noting she was “still [his] wife” and confirming his wedding ring was still on.

“This isn’t a we thing. This is a her thing,” he explained of her divorce filing.

He also took aim at MJ’s parenting.

“I’ve spent more time with my kid since the day [he was] born than my wife has,” he alleged.

Meanwhile, after joking that the podcast was now called the My Wife Filed for Divorce So I’m Trying to Pick Up the Pieces Podcast, Tommy made concerning statements about his mental state.

After noting that he was staying at an apartment with a friend from New York amid fears that MJ was “trying to take [his] kid,” Tommy said that their prenup “basically” allowed MJ to “have [his] testicles.”

“Maybe I gotta f*cking do a f*cking Smith & Wesson antidepressant to the back of my head. You don’t know, right?” he asked.
