The entertainment world is mourning the loss of beloved actress Subashini Balasubramaniyam, who tragically passed away at the age of 36. Authorities discovered the Tamil television star in her Chennai, India home on Tuesday, April 7, with initial reports suggesting she died by suicide. Investigations are currently underway, and her body has been sent for a medical examination. This heartbreaking event occurs just days before she would have celebrated her 37th birthday on April 12 and her second wedding anniversary with husband Bibin Chandra.

In a poignant tribute on social media, her grieving husband Bibin expressed his sorrow and disbelief, writing, “Rest in Peace, My Love, My Bobba. Nobody has ever loved me as much as you did. I haven’t loved anyone as much as I love you. Today, I can’t believe that you are no more. You are filled with all my memories, and you live within me. I feel your presence in everything I see, everything I feel. Why did you leave me?”

He continued to reflect on their dreams and plans, sharing, “I want to celebrate your birthday, our anniversary. Go travel all over. I don’t exist without you. We dreamt a lot – Our baby, traveling to a new destination every quarter. Go on drives every week, cook together and many more. I want to make more memories.”

The star, originally from Sri Lanka, made her acting debut in the 2012 film “Ini Avan” and quickly captured the hearts of many. Fans have been left in shock, flooding social media with heartfelt condolences. One Instagram user poignantly reminded others, “Check on your ‘happy’ friends. Sometimes, the ones who shine the brightest online are fighting the darkest battles in the shadows.”

One person penned on her Instagram: “Check on your ‘happy’ friends. Sometimes, the ones who shine the brightest online are fighting the darkest battles in the shadows.”

Another said: “The world sees the light we give, but only the stars know the weight we carry. May the end of the journey be the beginning of a peace that never fades.”
