In a candid encounter at a Lancaster, California gas station—one of the state’s most dangerous areas—Alexa, 33, opened up about her ongoing battle with substance abuse. She disclosed that she has been addicted to drugs for “six or seven years” and shared her current plight, marked by the loss of fingers, homelessness, and a lack of identification. She attributed much of her predicament to an “unstable” upbringing.

“I was using heroin and then got involved with people who introduced me to fentanyl,” Alexa shared in a YouTube interview with L.A. To You on January 30. “After that, my life really spiraled. I started using speed and got involved with the wrong crowd,” she continued. “I don’t use as much now as I used to, but it was a lot at one point.”

Alexa also revealed that a “bad car accident” was responsible for the loss of two fingers on one of her hands, adding to the challenges she currently faces.

According to Alexa, she was in a “bad car accident” that led to the loss of two of her fingers on one of her hands.

“I’m missing two fingers as a result to like, the drug use,” she shared.

While Alexa used to appear alongside her parents on RHOC, they now live in San Diego, and want nothing to do with her.

“I’m kind of cut off right now until maybe I get sober, and then they’re maybe like, gonna supply me with money again, but right now they really don’t want anything to do with me,” she admitted.

As for her older sister, Raquel Curtin, Alexa described her as the “good child.”

While Alexa is now homeless and not working, she said she’d been a hard worker in the past.

“I moved to L.A. I did porn for like, a year, and then I stopped doing porn, moved back to Orange County, got my boobs done, got my nose done, and I was like, ballin,” she recalled. “And then, unfortunately, all the money ran out.”

Looking back on her childhood, Alexa said the instability she felt led to long-term challenges.

“My life was kind of unstable growing up. My parents moved a lot, and it made it really hard for me to get the grounds to build my life. It just held me back. So I wasn’t able to succeed at a lot of things,” she alleged. “There’s so much more that I could have done, but because of the fact that we were constantly switching school systems and stuff, and going through that sh*t, it made it really f*cking hard for me. I didn’t have any stable relationships.”

Recalling one of the harder moments of her recent life, Alexa said she was raped.

“The guy handcuffed me. I tried to crack the window with my head, but I couldn’t, and he f*cking covered my mouth, covered my nose. I couldn’t breathe and he raped me for like, two hours. And then he threatened to kill me. He let me go eventually, but I mean, during that time I really thought that was gonna be it for me,” she stated.

“A lot of bad things have happened to me since moving out here. It’s not really a safe place. I’m probably gonna move back to Orange County eventually. I hope I make it there,” she added.

Far from the life she used to know in the wealthy Orange County, Alexa, who revealed she was previously married for five years, said she hoped to soon have a phone.

“I’m actually trying to make some money right now so I can get a phone. I have nothing. I have to literally start from the ground up. It’s gonna be difficult, but I’m actively trying to do that,” she said.

As RHOC fans may recall, Alexa’s legal troubles started back in 2016 when she was met with a slew of drug charges. Two years later, she was accused of DUI, and after that, she was awarded $2.25 million after filing a lawsuit, claiming she’d been raped by a cop.

Lynne Curtin was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s fourth and fifth seasons.
