Exciting changes are unfolding in the realm of Bravo’s reality television! Two of the network’s most popular series, Vanderpump Rules and The Valley, are gearing up for a cast shake-up that fans won’t want to miss.
The buzz started at BravoCon, the much-anticipated annual event that celebrates all things Bravo, where a significant revelation was made. It was there that it was confirmed that two beloved personalities from Vanderpump Rules will soon be making their way to The Valley.
So, who are these familiar faces set to make waves in the San Fernando Valley? Fans can now look forward to seeing Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz, staples of the Vanderpump Rules universe, as they transition to full-time roles on The Valley for its third season. This exciting news was unveiled at BravoCon 2025 on November 14th, marking a new chapter for both the stars and the show.
Two Major Vanderpump Rules Stars Have Joined The Valley Season 3
The cat’s officially out of the bag—it was just announced this past week that Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz, longtime figures on Vanderpump Rules, are officially joining The Valley as full-time cast members for Season 3. The announcement was made during BravoCon 2025 on Friday, November 14th.
Both previously appeared as guests in Season 2, but they will now join regulars Brittany Cartwright, Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, and Zack Wickham. Longtime fans of the show will know that their addition comes after Jax Taylor exited the series earlier in the year to focus on his mental health and sobriety.
During the panel, Lala shared that her time on Vanderpump Rules had come to its natural end. She reflected on the timing of her joining the VPR cast, and how moving over to a different Bravo show felt like a very different pace:
I came on to Vanderpump Rules Season 4, and they were like a very well-oiled machine. Joining [The Valley], I was the well-oiled machine. I had a wonderful time, I will say. But it was just different.
Lala Says She Has A Different Vibe On The Valley
During the “Peaks & The Valley” panel at BravoCon, Lala reflected on the shift from Vanderpump Rules to The Valley, noting that she once joined an already “well-oiled machine,” but this time she felt like the seasoned veteran among the cast. She admitted she was in “not a great place” after Vanderpump Rules Season 11, but after taking time with her children, Ocean and Sosa, she returned to the small screen with a fresh perspective.
Lala said that, this time around, she focused on listening, contributed when helpful, and ultimately felt confident that her dramatic nature would make her storylines memorable. When asked to elaborate on what she meant, she explained she tried to go into filming for The Valley being drama-free:
I came into filming with them with fresh perspective. I offered my voice where I could, but I just sat and listened.
“I’m not a dramatic person,” she added playfully. Lala also joked about not using her iconic “You wanna get popped?” line during filming, quipping that postpartum life meant she “was not popping anything—except for that p****.”
Fans of the show will recall that the most recent season of The Valley ended with a tense rooftop “zen party” that turned out to be anything but peaceful, as unresolved conflicts resurfaced among nearly every cast member. On one side, Brittany and Jax confronted the state of their divorce, with Jax admitting he wasn’t ready to move on and Brittany expressing how emotionally drained she felt.
On another side, cast members Kristen and Luke faced their own turbulent moments, including Kristen’s pointed comment that “karma is on my side,” hinting at deeper resentment still bubbling beneath the surface. Meanwhile, issues among the Bookos, the Lallys, and the Capernas remained largely unresolved, leaving the group fractured heading into the next chapter.
Shortly after the finale, it was revealed that Jax would not return for the upcoming season as he focuses on sobriety and mental health. As of this article’s writing, an official air date for Season 3 of The Valley has yet to be announced, though it was reported that filming began back in September, so no doubt production is well underway by this point. It seems likely a premiere is slated for sometime in spring of 2026.
