90 Day Fiancé season 11 has arrived, bringing a handful of new couples to the franchise. That includes newcomers Gregory “Greg” Chillak and Joan Kruchov, who made their reality TV debut during the February 23, 2025, episode of the TLC series. After hearing their adorable love story, many fans are wondering if the two are still together today.

Who Are 90 Day Fiance’s Greg and Joan?

Greg is a 35-year-old baker from Islip Terrace, New York, while Joan is a 26-year-old non-profit, nongovernmental organization (NGO) director from Kampala, Uganda.

Greg explained on 90 Day Fiancé that he became passionate about cooking after watching his mom make meals for their Italian family when he was a child. He added that cooking is a huge part of his Italian culture. However, he used to be 480 pounds as a result of overeating.

“I couldn’t even tie my shoes at one point, it was so bad. And seeing that every day finally just pushed me to the point where I wanted to lose weight and just get rid of this and feel better,” Greg said.

Greg went on a weight loss journey and lost 200 pounds between 2017 and 2019. He said he confided in Joan about his fitness progress when the two met.

On the show, Greg explained that he traveled to Uganda after falling asleep on a stranger’s shoulder on a plane. He and the man, who owns a safari company in the East African country, ended up chatting for more than six hours, and Greg’s new friend invited him to Uganda.

“I checked into the guest house, and I saw Joan within my first hour and a half of being there,” he said.

Though Greg and Joan initially lost touch after his visit to Uganda, he continued to think about her and considered her “the one that got away.” Miraculously, Joan found Greg on social media a year and a half later and sent him a friend request.

After months of chatting virtually, Greg went back to Uganda and proposed to Joan on her birthday.

90 Day Fiance’s Joan Was Unsure About Living With Greg’s Mom

After they got engaged, Greg and Joan made a plan for her to move to the U.S. However, Greg still lived with his mom because he could not afford a home on his own. He explained that Joan was already “skeptical” about the living situation, but he hoped that she would be OK with it for at least a year or two.

Meanwhile, Greg’s mom, Lucille, had concerns about the relationship.

“Gregory could be a little naive when it comes to relationships. My fear is of him being taken advantage of because he’s very generous and caring, trusting,” she said during their debut episode.

Lucille asked Greg to consider sleeping in a separate room from Joan until they were married.

“It’s crazy, you know, but at the same time, we’re not necessarily paying rent. So, when she asked me to do something like this, I have to take it very serious,” he said.

“Joan knows my working situation, my living situation. I’m very transparent with her, with everything. But I think once she actually gets here and realizes what’s going on, it might be a little bit of a shock for her,” Greg later said to his friend Lauren, explaining that Joan’s job made her “very well off.” He added that his fiancée would be taking “a step back” from the type of lifestyle she’s used to.

Though Greg said he would deal with their problems as they came along, Lauren encouraged him to take care of them right away. She told him that it was time to “grow up a little bit.”

Greg agreed and responded, “I just never really took my life serious, I guess, in the fact that I need a career. .. I guess I’m kind of stuck in that young mentality my entire life. Having this relationship and having Joan come into my life, this really put things in perspective for me. I have to grow up.”

Are 90 Day Fiance’s Greg and Joan Still Together?

Fans will have to wait and see how Greg and Joan’s relationship unfolds on 90 Day Fiancé season 11. However, the two have hinted that they’re still together on their Instagram accounts.

Joan’s page is private, but she describes herself as “engaged” in her bio.

Meanwhile, Greg teased his 90 Day Fiancé appearance with Joan on his Instagram on January 14, 2025.

“@jkruchov and I will be on the newest season of 90 Day Fiancé! For those who knew, thank you for your patience. This is going to be a roller-coaster, but we are definitely going to enjoy the ride!!! I love you Joanie, I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else!” he wrote.

Though Greg has not updated his Instagram frequently in recent months, he did share a post about his engagement to Joan in December 2023.

“This weekend was absolutely unforgettable. On December 1st, we celebrated @jkruchov birthday, and I asked for her hand in marriage. Confirming my love, devotion, and commitment to our happiness,” he captioned the post. “Over the past few years, it hasn’t been easy, but I can’t say it’s been hard. We always find a way to make the struggle worth every bit of it. Through God’s will and patience, we have found what I faithfully believe to be true love. Joan, you always know how to make me feel like the tallest man on the planet. I love you, and let’s enjoy our lives together.”
