The latest season of The Masked Singer has heightened the excitement with a fresh patriotic theme night, which promises to unveil the final wild card contestant in the competition. As season 14 unfolds, familiar faces return with host Nick Cannon at the helm, joined by panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. A new twist, termed America’s Insider, adds a layer of intrigue, revealing one contestant’s identity to viewers before the season’s premiere. Kylie Cantrall, known as Cat Witch, is tasked with providing exclusive behind-the-scenes insights throughout the season.
Thus far, alongside Kylie as Cat Witch, the season has seen five celebrities unmasked. These include David “Big Papi” Ortiz as Googly Eyes, Todd and Julie Chrisley as Croissants, Tiffany Haddish as Le Who Who, Tone Lōc as Handyman, and Taraji P. Henson as Scarab. Impressively, the panelists have accurately identified each revealed contestant. Ken Jeong correctly guessed Googly Eyes, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg nailed Croissants, while Rita Ora identified both Le Who Who and Scarab, and Robin Thicke guessed Handyman. Contestants advancing to future rounds include Calla Lily, Cat Witch, Crane, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Owl, Pugcasso, Queen Corgi, Snow Cone, and Stingray.
As reported by The Futon Critic through a FOX press release, the February 4 episode will present a Red, White and Clue Night, celebrating America’s 250th birthday. This season has already captivated audiences with various themed nights such as Fear Night, Clueless Night, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night, each adding a unique flair to the unfolding drama.
The Masked Singer Season 14 Reveals Its February 4 Theme Night
According to a FOX press release shared by The Futon Critic, the theme for the February 4 episode of The Masked Singer season 14 will be Red, White and Clue Night, which will be a celebration of America’s 250th birthday. So far, the season has had several exciting theme nights, including Fear Night, Clueless Night, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night.
Other previously announced Masked Singer season 14 theme nights include Ozzfest (a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne), Star Trek Night (celebrating the classic series’ 60th anniversary), Twilight, Care Bears, and the Spice Girls. Theme nights were first introduced during The Masked Singer season 8, and they’ve been a big hit ever since.
The Masked Singer Season 14 Introduces Its Final Wild Card Contestant
The Masked Singer season 14 has three Wild Card contestants–Crane, 14 Karat Carrot, and Pangolin. Crane made her debut on Clueless Night, while 14 Karat Carrot will take the stage on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night. This means that, on Red, White and Clue Night, Pangolin will be the final Wild Card contestant to enter the competition. Pangolin appears to be a female contestant.
The Masked Singer season 14 winner will follow in the footsteps of the show’s 13 previous champions. They include T-Pain (Monster), Wayne Brady (Fox), Kandi Burruss (Night Angel), LeAnn Rimes (Sun), Nick Lachey (Piglet), Jewel (Queen of Hearts), Teyana Taylor (Firefly), Amber Riley (Harp), Bishop Briggs (Medusa), Ne-Yo (Cow), Vanessa Hudgens (Goldfish), Boyz II Men (Buffalos), and Gretchen Wilson (Pearl).
The Masked Singer season 14 has already been one of its best. Taraji was the most decorated contestant in the show’s history, with over 35 awards, including a Golden Globe. It was also thrilling to see the other contestants unmask after their incredible performances. So far, every singer has been phenomenal, and it’s been hard to say goodbye to the ones who were unmasked. Pangolin is the last new contestant of The Masked Singer season 14, and it’s going to be so much fun to begin to figure out who she is on Red, White and Clue Night.
