Quinton Aaron, known for his role in the film The Blind Side, is currently in the hospital due to a severe health issue, prompting his wife, Margarita Aaron, to seek assistance from the public.
In January 2026, Margarita launched a GoFundMe campaign, disclosing that Quinton is “on life support because of a severe blood infection.” He rose to fame playing Michael Oher alongside Sandra Bullock in the acclaimed movie.
“This situation has been unexpected and terrifying for everyone close to him. While Quinton battles for his life, his family faces significant emotional and financial challenges, including increasing medical bills, daily living expenses, and the uncertainty surrounding his recovery process,” the campaign description explained.
After reaching and exceeding their initial $35,000 fundraising target, Margarita provided an update on Quinton’s health status.
“Quinton has opened his eyes and can feel some sensation in his foot!” she announced. “Although he remains on life support and is undergoing various tests, we anticipate a lengthy recovery. He will require a wheelchair upon discharge as he begins therapy to regain his ability to walk. We deeply appreciate all of your support and prayers.”

Who Is Margarita Aaron?
According to her Instagram bio, Margarita is a makeup artist. Additionally, her bio reveals she is a mom and a “proud Latina.” She is also a registered nurse. Margarita met Quinton through TikTok, per multiple reports.

Quinton first publicly referred to Margarita as his “wife” in a post shared via Instagram in December 2023 to celebrate Christmas.
“Merry Christmas everyone from my beautiful Wife @margaritaleta75 and I. Much Love and Peace and Blessings from our family to yours. #merrychristmas,” he captioned the snapshot, which featured Margarita kissing him on the cheek.
The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages after revealing news of their nuptials.
“HAAAAAAAAT!!!!!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!! MY BROTHER IS MARRIED!!!!! Congratulations!!! Bruce called it!! He said you know Quinton is gonna marry a Latina!” one person commented, while another wrote, “Congratulations!! So happy for you and wishing you a lifetime of happiness my friend! ❤️.”
In June the following year, Quinton shared a montage of photos with his wife via Instagram, writing, “I Thank God everyday for Mi Esposa (my wife) @margaritaleta75 😘😘😘.”
Quinton wished Margarita a happy birthday on the social media platform in November 2024.
“I was almost late slipping on my Pimpin, but I wanted to take some time out to give love to my Mrs. Margarita Leta,” he wrote. “It’s your birthday.God has showed out with you in the best way. It’s my pleasure to be your man I’m so grateful that I am. Love you mama!!! Happy Birthday.”
What Happened to Quinton Aaron?
On January 26, 2026, Margarita told TMZ that Quinton had been hospitalized after collapsing at his home and losing feeling in his legs. Days leading up to the incident, the All In actor had been feeling pain throughout his body.
At the hospital, doctors discovered Quinton had a blood infection and began performing tests to find the root of the issue. At the time, Margarita said Quentin was hooked up to machines but was partially breathing on his own and that the family was hopeful.
“He’s showing a lot of improvement. We all have faith in God that he will walk out of here fully recovered,” Margarita told the outlet.
The following day, she shared another update with TMZ, saying, “He opened his eyes today and gave a thumbs up.”
Margarita opened up more about her husband’s condition on GoFundMe.
“Quinton has spent his life inspiring others, reminding us that compassion and humanity still matter in this world,” she wrote on the platform. “Now, as he faces one of the hardest battles of his life, let’s surround him and his loved ones with that same compassion, strength, and care.”
