Unveiling Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun’s Age-Defying Connection: Photos That Spark Curiosity

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun have captured attention with their significant age difference. While such gaps aren’t unusual in the celebrity realm, the nearly 17-year difference between the “Euphoria” actress and the music mogul has drawn notice due to the contrasting stages of their lives and careers at the time their relationship began. Their age difference is particularly evident in their public appearances. Braun often sports a baseball cap, a nod to his Gen X roots, whereas Sweeney’s fashion choices are in line with the latest Gen Z trends.

In a photo from November 2025, Sweeney and Braun’s age disparity is apparent. Sweeney is seen in a trendy winter outfit, reflecting the fashion of that year. In contrast, Braun, known for managing Justin Bieber, chose a blue blazer with jeans and a cap, evoking a late Millennial vibe. Moreover, their physical appearances highlight the age gap: Sweeney’s youthful complexion contrasts with Braun’s graying hair and patchy stubble, indicating his mid-40s.

The images were taken shortly after their initial meeting at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in September 2025, where Sweeney’s flirtatious demeanor reportedly caused a sensation. Initially a casual relationship, it seemed to grow more serious by 2026. Whether their age gap will challenge their relationship remains uncertain, but Sweeney is familiar with dating older men.

Prior to Scooter Braun, Sydney Sweeney was involved with businessman Jonathan Davino, shown in a 2018 photo. The two were engaged in 2022 but parted ways in early 2025. Davino, born on June 19, 1983, was 14 years older than Sweeney. Interestingly, Davino is almost two years younger than Braun, who was born on June 18, 1981. The age difference between Sweeney and Davino also raised eyebrows.

This scrutiny arose because Sweeney was likely still a teenager when she began dating Davino around 2017, at about 19 or 20 years old. A Reddit user expressed discomfort with their age difference, noting, “It’s unsettling how much older he is than her (25 & 38), especially since they met in 2018.” Another user mentioned, “I wouldn’t have minded if she was 28, but at 19, it’s creepy.” Although Sweeney never publicly addressed criticism about her relationship with Davino, she has expressed frustration over media intrusion into her personal life.

Sydney Sweeney’s ex-fiancé was also much older

Before meeting Scooter Braun, Sydney Sweeney was in a relationship with Jonathan Davino (seen above in 2018). The businessman, to whom she became engaged in 2022 before splitting in early 2025, was also several years older than her. Born on June 19, 1983, Davino was 14 years Sweeney’s senior. Interestingly, Davino is almost exactly two years younger than Braun, whose birthday is June 18, 1981.  Sweeney and Davino’s age gap rubbed people the wrong way, even more so than her age difference with Braun.

That’s because she was potentially still a teenager when she started dating Davino around 2017, when she was around 19 or 20. “It’s so ick how much older he is than her (25 & 38), esp since they met in 2018,” a Reddit user argued in a 2023 thread. Another commenter echoed the sentiment. “I wouldn’t have cared much if they started dating if her age was 28 or something but she was like 19 so that’s makes it creepy,” the user noted. While Sweeney never addressed the backlash around her age difference with Davino, she showed dissatisfaction with the way the media handled her personal life.

“The White Lotus” actor argued that the interest in her relationship likely stemmed from her falling out of the norm of Hollywood. “I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age,” she told Glamour U.K. in 2023. “What I’ve noticed about the idea of celebrity is people really love to build someone up, and then tear them down.”
