Exciting revelations have surfaced about the latest season of The Bachelorette, bringing with them a fresh wave of anticipation and buzz among fans. Season 22 is shaping up to be an intriguing chapter, filled with unexpected twists and the usual blend of romance and drama.

In the midst of swirling rumors surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul, a 31-year-old featured in Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and her tumultuous relationship with Dakota Mortenson, aged 33, details about her journey on the show have been unveiled. Not only has the winner of her heart been disclosed, but there’s also clarity on whether love led to an engagement and what the current status of their relationship is.
A report from Reality Steve, dated March 17, sheds light on the final contenders vying for Taylor’s affection. The last four standing were Doug Mason, 28; Lew Evans, 32; Shane Parton, 28; and Casey Hux, 30. However, it was Doug Mason who ultimately captured Taylor’s heart, culminating in a romantic proposal during the final rose ceremony in the picturesque setting of St. Lucia.
“She gets engaged to Doug,” revealed Steve, adding a significant detail about the timeline. The memorable rose ceremony took place around December 19 or 20, just in time to add a festive touch to their newfound commitment right before Christmas.
“She gets engaged to Doug,” Steve shared. “The final Rose ceremony date was around December 19 or December 20 … right before Christmas.”
He then revealed that just one month later, “it all ended between [Taylor] and Doug.”
As Steve explained, Doug flew to Salt Lake City to see Taylor and filmed their breakup for the cameras.
“We will be seeing that … after the final rose,” he confirmed, adding that Dakota was somehow involved.
Because Taylor “slept with Dakota the night before” filming began on The Bachelorette, and has reportedly been back and forth with him in the months since, Steve felt that Taylor didn’t take the show seriously. That said, it wasn’t clear what exactly caused Taylor and Doug to end their relationship.
Steve went on to suggest that more would be revealed once SLOMW season five, which is currently on pause, starts airing. However, he suspected Taylor “broke up with Doug because she wasn’t over Dakota,” noting that, within days, “it was back to the same old mess with Dakota.”
“It’s only gonna get worse from here … more stuff is gonna start coming out about this DV charge,” Steve added.
Meanwhile, on Taylor’s TikTok account, via Real Moms of Bravo on Instagram, she seemed to confirm that she and Doug were still together by sharing a video of a man in a blue shirt.
In a video captured by another fan page, Doug was seen in a very similar blue shirt around the same time.
