A source hinted that “things in Bravo” are “changing” and a “big” announcement is looming. Meanwhile, a podcaster wondered if it’s related to Real Housewives of New Jersey, as the host heard that something about it was “going awry.”

RHONJ is now on pause, but reports have surfaced that production is preparing to film an upcoming season with new castmates and perhaps some familiar faces. But no one knows what this would look like.

“I keep getting these cryptic messages from somebody I know — but they won’t tell me any more — about how things in Bravo are changing, and there’s gonna be an announcement in February,” said the host of gossip podcast Deux/U. “I don’t know if it has to do with The Real Housewives of New Jersey, or a new franchise.”

“But allegedly … next week — this person says — [is a] big day for Bravo,” the host went on. “I don’t know what that means … [but] if it’s about f**king New Jersey not coming back, I’m gonna lose my s**t. Because I had also heard something about New Jersey was going awry.”

In a February 6 interview for the Bonded by Bravo podcast, OG castmate Teresa Giudice addressed the new season.

“I heard it’s coming soon,” she said at the time. “They have to let you know, like with the status, like with the whole employment thing … I’m gonna go back. I started it so I feel, like, you know, there’s still a lot in me.”

She then hinted at what cast she’d prefer.

“I would take half of that crew [from last season] … [because] there’s a lot of them that don’t give anything. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be giving anything,” she said. “I feel like they should stick some of the old, and bring in some of the new.”

“Even if we’re not friends with them, let’s build the friendship on camera,” she said. “I love that. That’s something that I would be interested in. I like new blood, and I like making new friendships. I’m a girls girl so I would like to build a friendship and see where it goes from there.”
