The Crown star Vanessa Kirby confirms pregnancy as she cradles baby bump on red carpet

The Crown star Vanessa Kirby announced her pregnancy while walking the red carpet for the Mexico City premiere of Fantastic Four: First Steps. The blonde bombshell, 37, best known for her role as Princess Margaret in the Netflix period drama, cradled her bump while rocking a metallic blue and green halter neck dress on the red carpet.

She styled her golden tresses in loose beachy waves and elevated her look with a pair of black high heels and minimal makeup for the special occasion. Sharing snaps from the event on her Instagram account, she penned: “Mexico, we loved you! Gracias – we had the best time, you were amazing to us. I learnt so much from Sue Storm about being a first-time mother in the film.

“Very grateful and surreal to be on this journey with her, as I’m now about to become one myself. Thank you to everyone for the beautiful love and support. It means the world to me. And thank you as always.”

It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to congratulate her online. One user penned: “Mother, literally and figuratively” as another wrote: “Congratulations, I’m so happy for you, you’re going to be a fantastic mother.”

A third fan page gushed: “Words can’t describe how happy I am to see you becoming a mother especially after Pieces of A Woman. So proud of you. There’s no doubt that you’ll be an amazing mother. Congratulations.”

Another follower commented: “Absolutely thrilled for you! [heart emojis] Wishing you all every blessing.” Vanessa’s Fantastic Four character, Sue Storm/ Invisible Woman, will be pregnant in the upcoming Marvel movie which is set to drop in theatres on July 25.

She got engaged to professional Lacrosse player Paul Rabil in 2024, with the two first sparking dating rumours in October 2022. They went Instagram official with their relationship in November 2023 when Paul shared snap on his page.

Alongside the loved-up snap, he wrote: “From the very minute we met in Des Moines, around the world and back, life is far better fore purposeful and more beautiful with you.” Meanwhile, Vanessa stars in the new Marvel movie alongside Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

She previously played Alanna Mitsopolis, also known as White Widow, in the Mission: Impossible film series. She first appeared in Fallout (2018) before returnig in Dead Reckoning (2023). She’s expected to reprise the role in the Final Reckoning, which is set to be released next year.

Her other recent acting credits have included playing Empress Josephine in Napoleon (2023) and Dora Strauch in Eden (2024).
