Vicki Gunvalson reacted to Meghan King‘s recent legal trouble — and the OG of the OC made it clear with just one word that the former costars are still not on good terms.

On Thursday, September 4, Gunvalson, 63, commented on a social media post that picked up Us Weekly’s exclusive reporting about King’s run-in with ex-husband Jim Edmonds and his wife, Kortnie Edmonds. An account named TV Deets wrote, “Bring her back for Season 20” with a laughing emoji.

Gunvalson was quick to respond with a “NO!!!!!”

As Us first reported, Kortnie called police on May 1 after she claimed King, 40, walked into her house without permission. King’s rep said the former reality star was at the home to drop off her daughter’s clothes.

No charges were brought over the incident. Kortnie filed a restraining order but the two reached a consent order before it was granted. Both agreed not to come within 150 yards of the other at activities for the children and King will not speak about Kortnie on social media.

A rep for King told Us, “The recent incident involving Meghan King has been mischaracterized.”

King’s rep added, “Meghan briefly called to her daughter from the doorway, never stepped inside, had the door slammed in her face, and calmly left her belongings on the porch. Upon leaving, she was unexpectedly blocked by multiple police vehicles and treated in a way that felt unnecessarily hostile.”

Trouble in the O.C.? When Bravo announced Tamra Judge‘s return to The Real Housewives of Orange County, at least one person wasn’t totally thrilled: her former costar Vicki Gunvalson. The Coto Insurance founder left the original Housewives franchise in January 2020 after 14 seasons on the show, which premiered in 2006. “I will always be […]

King was a cast member on the Bravo show from season 10 to season 12. Gunvalson was a star on the show from season 1 to season 13. She recurred during season 14 and made guest appearances on seasons 17 and 18.

Gunvalson and King were not friends on the show. In season 10, King questioned Gunvalson’s then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ alleged cancer diagnosis. Ayers later admitted to forging medical records about his diagnosis but said he did have cancer.

In 2015, during an argument between the two on RHOC, Gunvalson told King that her marriage to Jim would be over within five years. King and her ex split in 2019.

In 2017, King spoke about her drama with Gunvalson and Ayers.

RHOC star Vicki Gunvalson adds fire to her feud with Teddi Mellencamp I do not like her 256

Vicki Gunvalson is firing shots at Teddi Mellencamp — again. The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 61, took verbal shots at Teddi, 42, while also literally taking tequila shots on the Wednesday, September 13, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Vicki, whose feud with Teddi kicked off last year, doubled down […]

“I thought I would click with Vicki,” King said about coming onto the show. “I knew that Vicki’s boyfriend had cancer and I was also going through a cancer situation with [someone I knew]. I thought that we could help each other and talk about each other’s experiences and commiserate, and instead, I was confronted with a very defensive woman who wanted nothing to do with me and I was shocked.”

In an interview with The Daily Dish, King said she started to investigate Ayers due to Gunvalson’s behavior. “And that’s really what led me to looking more into this. Because that’s not what you do. People who are dealing with cancer, they connect, and they help each other. And instead, she pushed me away and I was like, ‘What? this doesn’t make sense.’”

In 2024, King said she had no desire to be friends with Gunvalson. “Well, I mean, who could be friends with Vicki?” King said to Page Six.

She added, “Like, I feel like anybody who’s friends with Vicki is just fake anyway, like, they’re just doing it for their own political gain –– not actually because they like Vicki. Like, she’s not easy to like.”
