It’s been confirmed: Vicki Gunvalson is rejoining the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County. The news was announced in a thrilling moment at The Bravos during BravoCon in Las Vegas on Friday, when Andy Cohen, the network’s host, caught Vicki by surprise.

“Vicki, would you come back as a housewife for Season 20?” Andy inquired, referencing Vicki’s start with the series when it premiered in 2006.

Overcome with emotion, Vicki responded with an enthusiastic, “Yes!”

“Yes!” an emotional Vicki responded.

Later, Vicki spoke out about being offered a spot back on the show she helped catapult into popularity.

“They just gave me season 20. He brought me out on stage and gave me an orange,” said an emotinal Vicki to Christian Gray, her podcast co-host on ‘My Friend, My Soulmate, My Podcast.’

The current cast members of the Real Housewives of Orange County, including Heather Dubrow, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Beador were later captured on video hugging and congratulating Vicki on her return.

The Bravo network also took to their official Instagram page to announce Vicki’s surprising come back.

“🚨BREAKING FROM #BRAVOCON 🚨 @BravoAndy has officially offered @VickiGunvalson her orange back for Season 20 of #RHOC. We’ve never been more ready to whoop it up!!! 🍊,” wrote the network along with a collage of Vicki’s photos through her past 14 seasons on the RHOC.

Earlier this month, Vicki and Tamra stunned fans when they revealed they had ended their feud and reconciled following some years of estrangement.

“We’ve had a lot of ups and downs in our 20 years. I always say we’re like sisters,” Tamra explained to Us Weekly. “It’s that love-hate relationship all the time. I’m talking sisterly love, like, you have little arguments. And then, of course, being on a show together, there’s always ups and downs — especially the type of show that we were on together.”
