Vicki Gunvalson recently stirred the pot with some pointed comments about her former co-stars on the Real Housewives of Orange County. In a bold statement, she suggested that many of them are “irrelevant” and hinted that they should brace themselves for her comeback, promising to “get the stupid out” of the show. Adding to the excitement, Vicki confirmed her participation in the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, signaling a busy time ahead for the reality TV veteran.

The buzz around Vicki’s return was amplified during BravoCon 2025 when Andy Cohen made the official announcement. This marks a significant moment, as it has been eight long years since Vicki stepped away from RHOC. Coinciding with this news was Tamra Judge’s surprising declaration of rekindling her friendship with Vicki. Given their history as rivals, many fans speculate that Tamra’s change of heart might be a strategic move. There’s a growing sentiment that without Vicki shaking things up, season 20 might lack excitement.

During an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast, The Viall Files, Vicki didn’t hold back when asked about the least interesting OC Housewife. With a knowing smile, she candidly remarked, “I think they’re all irrelevant.” Her critique of the show’s current state was clear: “RHOC, to me, has just become stupid. The majority of the people that I speak with [say], ‘You gotta come on and get the stupid out.’”

On Nick Viall‘s The Viall Files podcast, Vicki was asked who is the least interesting OC Housewife.

“I think they’re all irrelevant,” she said with a smile. “RHOC, to me, has just become stupid. The majority of the people that I speak with [say], ‘You gotta come on and get the stupid out.’”

“Do you think your co-workers on OC are scared by your return?” asked Nick.

“Well, they all should be,” answered Vicki. But the star defended Katie Ginella. “I don’t even know why people are mad at Katie. Catch her in lies, I guess? Everybody lies,” she said.

When asked if Katie should return, Vicki expressed, “I don’t know why she would want to.” Later on, Vicki said she wouldn’t put Heather Dubrow in the “funny category,” after last season’s debate about whether Heather is funny or not. She then named Slade Smiley as the “thirstiest husband” on RHOC.

As for Kelly Dodd, Shannon said, “I think she’s just got a fiery personality. I mean, I like Kelly. As long as Kelly likes you, everything’s great.”

At one point, Vicki confirmed that filming for season 20 of RHOC begins “mid February.”

“We don’t have an exact date yet, but it’ll be mid February. And I’m going to do [Ultimate] Girls Trip like four days before that,” she said. “So I’m going on the girls’ trip January 18th through the end of January, and then I head to Mexico from New York, and I’ve got to get my permanent resident card renewed.”

She also seemed to throw shade at Nick, the podcast host, a year after their awkward first interview.

“I worked out this morning, and I’m like, ‘Oh f**k, I get to do this stupid Nick Vialls thing again!’” she said. “I don’t know what I’m doing [or] why I’m doing it. How is this benefiting me!?”
