A recently surfaced video captures the intense moment Shia LaBeouf was aggressively assaulted during a street brawl in New Orleans, an incident that culminated in his arrest. The dramatic footage has garnered significant attention.
On February 17, TMZ released a video depicting the 39-year-old actor on the ground, under attack from a man who struck him twice in the face with considerable force.
“We gon’ beat the f*** out you, boy. Chill!” the assailant yelled as LaBeouf attempted to rise, only to be forcefully pushed back down.
According to the outlet, authorities arrived shortly after the altercation and transported LaBeouf to a hospital. Subsequently, he was arrested and faced two charges of simple battery.
The confrontation reportedly started when LaBeouf engaged in a fight with a bar employee in the vibrant French Quarter. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf, who spoke about his sobriety journey in a 2025 interview with the publication, has been in New Orleans since February 12.
