Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ stepdaughter, Weslie, defended her mom, Allison Holker, amid the recent drama surrounding Allison’s allegations. Allison claimed she discovered the professional dancer was addicted to drugs before his December 2022 death.

Weslie, 17, said that the situation was “so much more complicated” than the public realized, regarding her mom’s claims.

“This is my dad,” Weslie began in a livestream shared by Without a Crystal Ball on Friday, January 10. “This is not a joke to me. For 13 years, [Allison and Stephen] were together and for 13 years, he was the person I would go to about everything. Now, I’m getting hate for him leaving and I don’t get it. It’s hurtful.”

The teen added that she “kept seeing” comments saying it “wasn’t her place” to discuss the situation because The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ wasn’t her biological father. Weslie also noted that that some of the people who slammed Allison, 36, for talking about Stephen’s alleged drug use and alleged sexual abuse were “big players” in her life.

“I feel disrespected by them, so I’m not going to talk to them,” Weslie continued. “[Stephen’s siblings] have been going on social media saying, ‘Blood is thicker than water,’ and that’s a dig at me and my mom. If you don’t see me as Stephen’s daughter, that’s cool and take it as you want, but I know for a fact that’s never how he saw it.”

Weslie claimed that it was “her mom who was making the effort” for Stephen’s children to see his family “because she cares.”

“Everyone’s pushing this narrative that my mom’s not trying or that the kids are being withheld from Stephen’s family – umm, no. Everyone’s making the narrative that this is a bigger deal than it is, and I just don’t like the narrative that my mom’s a bad person,” Weslie said during the live.

On Tuesday, January 7, Allison spoke with People and made some shocking allegations about her late husband.

“I was with one of my really dear friends, and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral,” the former So You Think You Can Dance star told the outlet. “It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed. It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about].”

She continued, “It was a really scary moment in my life to figure that out, but it also helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame in that.”

Allison claimed that she discovered some of Stephen’s journals and learned he “was trying to self-medicate and cope” and alleged he alluded to being sexually abused when he was a child. Since the interview, several people have spoken out against Allison, including their former manager, Nelson Diaz, and Stephen’s mother and other relatives.

“For over a decade I put up with so much disrespect and just plain evil stuff from you because of HIM (I should have dropped you as a manager) … I hate that I built you up and fought EXTREMELY hard for you to get jobs. Even hiring you as a judge on a show on Bravo I helped build … should have let them fire you when you showed your true colors on set and held us up because you could barely speak,” Nelson said in his Instagram Stories the same day Allison’s interview was published.

He continued, “Don’t act holier than thou with the demons and skeletons you have … your house is made of glass. I don’t have to say a thing, others are coming for you now not me. People know my addiction journey because it’s part of my testimony … if you are truly healed then share your TRUE SELF and [don’t] monetize Stephen.”

Stephen’s mom, Connie Boss Alexander, called Allison’s claims “misleading” and was “appalled” at the situation.

“The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this,” Connie wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 9.
