Dorit Kemsley has never appeared to like Sutton Stracke since Sutton first joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2020. Over the years, the two women have been embroiled in a public spat before trading mean remarks and low blows.

This explosive feud between the two reality TV stars has blown over into Season 14, which has seen an “activated” Dorit, who is still reeling from her marital woes from her husband of nine years, Paul “PK” Kemsley.

“You’re angry and you’re not angry at me. You’re angry at your life,” Sutton proclaimed to Dorit in a Season 14 episode. “Don’t take it out on me. It is not my fault that you are in the position that you’re in.”

Why Dorit And Sutton Are Feuding On Season 14 Of RHOBH

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills saw a new version of Dorit Kemsley. After splitting with her husband, PK, Dorit is angrier and, according to Andy Cohen, “firing on all cylinders.” This means that she has spent most of the current reality show season feuding with former friend Kyle Richards and long-term enemy Sutton Stracke.

In an interview with US Weekly, Dorit shared more about her metamorphosis.

When I started to feel more like myself – confident and stronger – and feel better going into this season, I was over it.

Dorit and Sutton fought in the Sprinter van on the way home from Oceanside, California.

“Dorit, I’m not angry with you,” Sutton told her in the episode. “I raised my voice in the sprinter because I felt you were not listening or understanding the bigger point. It was not about you. It’s about all of us being able to talk and understand that when we are having a moment, we can still be friends afterwards.”

Dorit explained to new Housewife Bozoma Saint John on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show why she has such a strong dislike for Sutton. She called her “hypocritical,” and told Bozma that Dorit’s words don’t “match her actions.”

Sutton shared, “This is a woman who sat on the boat, wanted to hold my hand and tell me how … really wanted to demonstrate how much she understood [the hardships of divorce] and wanted to be there for me.” The mother of three continued, “In the same few days — not even — she actually used a painful part of my life to justify her own behavior. ‘It’s not me, it’s you. You and everything you’re going through.'”

Where Did Dorit Kemsley And Sutton Stracke’s Feud Come From?

Since Sutton Stracke told Dorit Kemsley to “let the mouse go” during a disagreement during Season 10, the pair have not seen eye to eye. “You know, I don’t [think] she ever let the mouse go…it’s been in her teeth for five years now,” she said during an interview with MTV. “Let the mouse go! The lady can’t get a hint.”

On the way to Lisa Rinna’s event during Season 5, Sutton said she was nervous about a mutual friend also attending, explaining to Dorit that the pair had fallen out. “I’m going to flip out,” Sutton casually told Dorit.

Later in the episode, Dorit called Sutton out for this comment and would not drop it. She kept trying to dig into the subject, even when Sutton was brought to tears and told her she was not being “nice.”

“Alright, you’ve had your fun,” Sutton ultimately snapped. “Let the mouse go. Let the mouse go. You’ve had your fun, let it go.”

Sutton Stracke’s History Of Delivering Low Blows Against Dorit Kemsley

While it may seem like Dorit Kemsley is taking out her anger on Sutton Stracke, the socialite has delivered some low blows to the fashion designer over the years. On the December 2024 episode of the RHOBH: After Show, Sutton claimed she was calm until someone pushed her “so hard that I have to be reactionary.”

Dorit disagreed and explained that it was typical for Sutton to go low. “[And] it’s like, you’ve gotta have a somewhat respectable or at least intelligent argument. Sutton doesn’t have those.” Dorit admitted that she wished more of her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars had stood up for her and told Sutton how low the blows were.

• In October 2020, Sutton did a joint interview with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow for MTV UK, where they played a game together.
• They had to identify the celebrity based on a series of clues and Sutton managed to offend by doing this.
• When Lisa asked if a certain Housewife was pretty, Sutton quipped, “Well, when you’ve had enough surgery anybody can be pretty.”
• Dorit was offended by this comment, noting she had only undergone a breast augmentation.

“Why hasn’t Sutton done [plastic surgery] then?” Dorit furiously retorted during a November interview with Page Six. “She has the money, right? She can afford … plastic surgery, so why hasn’t she done it if it is that easy? I’m just curious.”

Sutton also came under fire for her response to Dorit’s home invasion during Season 12 of RHOBH.

Sutton’s Insensitivity to Dorit’s Home Invasion

• Kyle Richards pointed out how “terrifying” the ordeal must have been for Dorit after her home was robbed when her and her children were inside.
• Sutton didn’t appear to understand the severity of the invasion as she replied, “I’ve been putting out fires all day today, too. But it might just be that kind of day.”
• Sutton explained how difficult it was to bring a French designer into LA for an event.
• When Kyle told her the two events were not comparable, Sutton brushed it off.
• Sutton later apologized for her insensitivity to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “My brain just wasn’t in the moment, I think.”

What Do The Other Housewives Think About Sutton Stracke And Dorit Kemsley’s Feud?

Sutton Stracke has been an acquired taste for the other Housewives since joining the franchise due to her eccentric personality and sharp tongue.

Kyle Richards felt that Sutton’s Season 14 comments were “not what [she needed] to hear when [she was struggling].” Erika Jayne agreed with her RHOBH co-star.

Sutton sometimes goes a little past the mark and gets in those really sort of places where it’s like, ‘I don’t know that you needed to say that.’

She continued saying, “It’s like what she said to [Kyle] at [her] weed dinner. I thought that Sutton did it to me when I was at my lowest. I’m watching her be mean to Dorit at her lowest. It’s not once, it’s not twice. It’s three times.”

Kyle had previously called out Sutton and Dorit’s nasty feud. “I do not like when anybody talks about people’s looks or their financial situations. It’s ugly,” she said to Page Six back in November 2024. “Listen, I’ve had my arguments. We disagree on the show, but I don’t do ugly.”

Newcomer Bozoma Saint John, who is mostly neutral on the feud, felt Sutton’s statements created a “dangerous situation” and that she was “weaponizing” intimate information she had learned about her co-star.

On the Aftershow, Reality Tea reports that Erika called Sutton “inconsistent” and complained that she “doesn’t listen.” Even Sutton’s close friend, Jennifer Tilly, admitted the socialite can be up and down and have “a lot of emotions,” and called her “mercurial.”
