During a recent profile with Rolling Stones promoting her highly anticipated documentary My Mind And Me, Selena Gomez managed to cause major bad blood to Francia Raisa.

“I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities,” the singer and actress revealed. “My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong. I felt the presence of everyone around me living full lives. I had this position, and I was really happy, but … was I?” So, why is this statement so controversial, and why has it lost her one of her oldest friends?
