Dorit Kemsley is making her split from Paul “PK” Kemsley official a year after the couple announced their separation.

Just hours after photos of PK kissing reality star Shana Wall hit the net, a new report confirms the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has filed for divorce as a possible custody battle could be brewing between the exes.

According to TMZ, Dorit, 48, filed her divorce petition today, April 25, in L.A. County. Even more, she is asking for sole and physical custody of their two kids together –11-year-old Jagger and 9-year-old Phoenix.

The fashion designer is also requesting spousal support from PK. It should also be noted that the couple tied the knot back in March 2015, so they are now officially over the 10-year-mark in their marriage. In the state of California, hitting the 10-year mark in a marriage means PK could be responsible for spousal support for the rest of his life or until Dorit decides to remarry.

Not surprisingly, sources connected to PK and Dorit tell TMZ they didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement.

The timing of Dorit’s filing is rather interesting as it was just on Thursday night that PK, 56, was photographed making out with Amazing Race alum Shana, who has previously dated Ryan Seacrest.

Photos of PK and Shana, taken at the Cipriani restaurant in New York City hit the net today. Dorit has yet to publicly comment on the pictures. 

PK and Dorit’s marriage has been plagued with financial hardships which included PK’s past gambling debts. Most recently, their $6.5 Encino home went into pre-foreclosure late last year after they missed making a number of mortgage payments. However, just last month, it was reported they coughed up $298,556 to get their home out of pre-foreclosure.
