Ed Sheeran hints at launching a FACTOR 70 suncream for redheads

Ed Sheeran could be set to branch out on a new business venture as he has hinted at releasing a suncream range.

The singer, 31, who boasts a net worth of £260M, is hoping to swap records for skincare with a new range that is made for people with far skin and ginger hair.

Admitting that he’d like to release a staggering factor 70 block, the star would be adding to his already sprawling portfolio – which includes a London pub, art sales and management company.

Talking to The Mirror, Ed explained that his fair complexion would work in his favour marketing wise, detailing the idea of his face on the packagaing.

Explaining that it would be ‘for fun’, the hitmaker shared: ‘You would buy suncream if my face was on it.

‘Because you’d be like “He definitely knows what he’s talking about” If you were going to a hot country and you needed Factor 70.’

He explained: ‘You would buy suncream if my face was on it’

Known for his ginger locks and fair complexion, the singer has previously jested ‘ thank god for factor 50’ via Instagram.

Ed has preiously sold artwork to raise money for charity, and owns West London pub Bertie Blossoms.

And aside from being a chart-topping singer and unique businessman, the musician has recently shared a glimpse into family life.

The star recently gave a rare insight into fatherhood after he welcomed his second child with his wife Cherry Seaborn.

He jested that the couple are now ‘in the trenches’ as they parent their daughter Lyra Antarctica, two and their newest arrival, Jupiter. 

Speaking on Good Morning America, about how he’s finding fatherhood, he explained: ‘It’s great. We’re in the trenches.’ 

Giving a further insight he added: ‘They’ve been on tour with me. My second daughter was born while we were on tour, but my first daughter comes to the shows, she’s quite aware.

‘I think she assumes everyone else’s dad sings as well, though,’ Ed joked.

‘It’s every cliché that people say about parenting. You love both kids exactly the same but also completely differently. I’m really enjoying being a father of two,’ he continued. 

Ed is notoriously tight lipped on his personal life, but shocked fans in May when he revealed that he and Cherry had secretly welcomed another daughter, announcing he was ‘over the moon to be a family of four.’
