The story follows Wednesday Addams as her parents enroll her at Nevermore Academy, the boarding school they both attended when they were younger, after attempts to educate their daughter at an ordinary school fail. Gwendoline Christie portrayed Larissa Weems, the Nevermore Academy principal, as dead. Laurel’s plan is immaculate, except for the fantastic twist that Weems, the Nevermore principal, is a shapeshifter. Weems poses as Tyler, deceiving Laurel into documenting her evil scheme in front of an influential figure. Laurel destroys Weems in revenge and to protect her secrets. Gwendoline Christie is still astounded by her character’s death.

Is Weems Dead?

Principal Weems died by the end of the first season on Wednesday after she was stabbed during her stand-off with Marilyn Thornhill. In the concluding episode, Nevermore Academy principal Larissa Weems, played by Gwendoline Christie, was killed by Marilyn Thornhill, portrayed by Christina Ricci. Weems is dead. In the season finale, Marilyn Thornhill stabs Weems in the throat with an antagonized syringe, and she dies in Wednesday’s arms. Articulating to Variety about the sequel, showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar were asked how the Game of Thrones star responded upon realizing her character’s demise.
