The long-standing chapter between Noel Gallagher, famed Oasis guitarist, and his former wife, Sara MacDonald, has officially closed as the couple finalizes their divorce. Sara is reportedly set to receive a substantial financial settlement.
According to sources, Sara, a 52-year-old music publicist, stands to gain approximately £20 million in addition to their lavish £8 million mansion located in Hampshire.
An insider revealed to The Sun, “Sara remained in the residence following their separation, while Noel relocated. It is anticipated she will continue to live there.”
The couple has reportedly managed the proceedings in a discreet manner, steering clear of public drama, thanks to their ability to resolve matters privately.
“Ultimately, their communication relied heavily on legal representatives,” the source added, highlighting the couple’s preference for handling their split through formal channels.

They added that settling on a deal would have been a ‘huge relief’ to them both and that both sides seemed ‘happy enough’.

The rocker, who now fronts the band High Flying Birds, told how writing his latest album helped him to ‘come to terms’ with the break-up.
He said: ‘Divorce is a long, drawn-out process, so it affects the mood of the album, for sure.
‘When you’re an artist you write about what you know, and I don’t really have much to say about life in general, as I don’t really give a f*** about most things I see on the news.

It comes after Noel recently opened up about his split from Sara in January after 12 years of marriage.
He revealed that the couple ‘grew tired of each other’ which he said was not unusual for couples in their 50s.
Sara is Noel’s second wife, who he met at an Ibiza nightclub Space in 2000, a year before his divorce from his first wife Meg Matthews, 57 – the mother of his eldest child, Anaïs, 23.
The former couple were notorious for a party-hard lifestyle at the height of Brit Pop in the mid ’90s as they lived it up during rowdy nights with north London’s notorious Primrose Hill set, among them supermodel Kate Moss and actress Sadie Frost.
But following their split, it was reported that Noel had an affair with Sara – an allegation they both denied.
Noel and Sara married in 2011 at the Lime Wood Hotel in the New Forest in a £60,000 ceremony with guests including Russell Brand in attendance – but younger brother and former bandmate Liam said he wasn’t invited.
They share sons Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12.
