Millionaire Adrian Portelli recently made headlines after unsuccessfully bidding on Omar and Oz’s lavish Gisborne property on The Block.

The mysterious entrepreneur, nicknamed Mr Lambo due to his love of Lamborghinis, 33, is now giving away his $2.3million Gold Coast mansion in a competition with his company LMCT+.

‘I didn’t win The Block house to give away so I’ve found a replacement. It was never meant for a giveaway but here we are,’ he told News.com.au.

The lavish oceanside property was built just last year and features exquisite architecture and jaw-dropping scenic surroundings.

Purchasing property is a hobby of Portelli’s and he already owns several houses in Queensland.

He was hoping to expand into Victoria by successfully bidding on Omar and Oz’s property during the The Block finale on Sunday.

He arrived at the auction in a flashy yellow Lamborghini and seemed to know Omar and Oz well.

The successful entrepreneur opened the bidding at $4.5million, which was much higher than the $4.08million reserve price.

His aggressive style meant eventual buyer Danny Wallis ended up paying an eye-watering $5,666,666.66 for the 10-acre property, four-bedroom home.

Omar and Oz became instant millionaires with total winnings of $1,686,666.66 – the biggest victory in The Block’s 18-year history.

Following their win, some fans speculated the auction was ‘dodgy’ and that Portelli was ‘set up’ to force Wallis into spending more.

But an equal number of viewers refuted this, saying the boys won fairly and calling out the criticism as ‘racist’.
