Byron Allen is married to fellow T.V. producer, writer, and Actress Jennifer Lucas. The two wed in Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles, California, on September 1, 2007, after dating for six years and being engaged for eight months.

The couple has three children: 14-year-old Chloe Ava Allen, 12-year-old Olivia Rose Allen, and 9-year-old Lucas Byron Allen.

Lucas has 28 production credits on her IMDb and is best known for Friend Request (2016), 47 Meters Down (2017), Replicas (2018), and Boss Level (2020). She has won a Daytime Creative Arts Emmy award for Outstanding Lifestyle Program.

She reportedly works as the supervising producer at Byron’s Entertainment Studios in Los Angeles.

According to E Celebrity Mirror, Byron purchased a beautiful 11,266-square-foot property in Beverly Hills, California, for $19.9 million in 2019. He now resides there with his family.

Byron Allen Folks was born in Detroit, Michigan, United States, to his mother, Carolyn Folks, and an unnamed Father.

After his parents split, he moved with his mother to Los Angeles, California. At the time, he was seven, and his mother raised him as a single mother.

Byron’s interest in show business started when he accompanied his mom to N.B.C. Studios in Burbank, where she was a publicist. 

Free to roam the sound stages, he would sneak onto The Tonight Show set and sit behind Johnny Carson’s desk playing talk show host.

When he was 14, Byron came up with his first stand-up comedy routine and started appearing on amateur nights at several comedy clubs throughout the Los Angeles area.

Comedian Jimmie Walker was so impressed with Allen’s stand-up act that he invited the 14-year-old to join his comedy writing team alongside fellow young comedians Jay Leno and David Letterman.

At age 18, Byron made his television debut on The Tonight Show, Starring Johnny Carson, becoming the youngest stand-up comedian to have performed on the show.

Allen went to Fairfax High School in Los Angeles and the University of Southern California for college.
