Lim Nahee Obituary: K-Pop Singer Nahee Dies At Age 24
Lim Nahee, a South Korean singer-songwriter best known by her stage as Nahee passed away on Wednesday at the age of 24.
Her cause of death is still a mystery. Regarding the cause of her death, neither her family nor her agency have released an official comment.
Ms. Nahee’s funeral was held on Friday at Pyeongtaek Central Hall in Gyeonggi Province.
According to Koreaboo, Ms. Nahee was a well-liked independent musician in South Korea. In 2019, “Blue City” served as her lead single. After this, further hits like “Blue Night” and “Gloomy Day” followed.
As a singer-songwriter and producer, Ms. Nahee even signed with the agency Mun Hwa In in 2020. She has since released more music, the most recent of which is “H!” and “Rose.”
According to the site, Ms. Nahee has already received 15 KOMCA (Korea Music Copyright Association) songwriting and composition credits in her brief 4-year career.
Nahee’s record label Mun Hwa confirmed her death in an Instagram post, saying “She has left our earth and become a star”.
Nahee, who made her debut in the South Korean music market four years ago, passed away at an unidentified location.
Nahee, a singer-songwriter, has departed from this world and is now a star in the sky, according to a heartfelt Instagram post by the Mun Hwa label.
“I apologize to all of the fans who have loved and supported Nahee for having to break bad news. Our sincere condolences are sent.
Just three days prior, Nahee had posted a photo of herself and her dog playing with a toy on Instagram. The message was only published a few hours prior to her passing.
She also shared a selfie of herself with her dog’s fluffy paws up close and wearing a winter coat.
A video of a city at sunset that looked like it was taken from a train was also presented.
On October 29, Nahee gave her devoted admirers her final known performance, during which she sang and played the guitar.
The year 2019 saw the publication of her breakthrough hit, “Blue City,” and two more songs, “Gloomy Day” and “Blue Night,” which helped her gain more notoriety.
