Sam Woolf Parents: Meet His Father, Scott Woolf, And Mother, Mary Woolf

Sam Woolf was born in Bradenton, Florida, on 19 April 1996. 

The American Idol finalist was taken to his parents, Scott Woolf and Mary Woolf. He has an older sister, Emily Woolf.

Woolf’s parents were wedded by Humanistic Judaism, Rabbi Sherwin Wine. Also, Sam is a nephew of Mickey Woolf, who was a famous musician in the Jewish community.

His guardians admitted him to Scotch Elementary School in West Bloomfield. Scott and Mary moved to North Port, Florida, in 2006. Their son Sam was just nine years old at the time. 

Woolf’s parents, Scott and Mary Woolf, parted ways when he was a teenager. Mary remarried another man and moved to a different city in Florida when her son Sam was thirteen years old.

However, the children remained with their Father, Scott, in North Port. Not after many years, Scott moved to Bradenton with his son Sam. He admitted Sam to Braden River High School for his second year of high school there. 

Sam also moved in with his grandparents, who lived in Bradenton. 

Moreover, his mother suggested that he should participate in the American Idol.

Sam Woolf comes from a family with mixed ethnicity. His Father, Scott, is Ashkenazi Jewish, while his mother is of Polish, German, English, and Irish descent.

Most members of Sam’s family are involved in music in one way or another.

Likewise, Elroy Woolf is his paternal grandpa, who was born in New Jersey. Also, his great-grandfather Sammy Woolf was involved in music. As mentioned earlier, composer Randall Woolf is his uncle, and pianist Kathleen Supové is his aunt.

Moreover, the singer’s maternal grandfather is Thomas Edward Hanawalt, while his maternal grandma is Virginia Marie Konz.

Sam lived with his grandparents for a while in his junior year of high school.
