British athlete Chijindu Ujah has been suspended from competition after testing positive for a banned substance. Scroll down to know everything about the athlete, including his parents and family. 

Chijindu Ujah is a British Olympian, who won 100m at the 2021 British Championships. 

Ujah has been provisionally suspended for testing positive for prohibited substances Ostarine and S-23, according to the Athletics Integrity Unit. 

Besides this, the athlete has been spotted in European Junior Championships, 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games. Sainsbury’s Indoor British Championships etc. 

Further, the player won his first global individual title, the 2017 IAAF Diamond League title.

Chijindu Ujah was born to his parents in Enfield, London. His parents are originally from Nigeria, though they shifted to London. 

However, he has not revealed his parents’ identity in the media yet.

Chijindu Ujah’s age is 27 years old as of 2021. He was born and raised in the year 1994 and celebrates his birthday on 5th March every year. 

Ujah was born and raised in Enfield, London. The sprinter attended Bishop Stopford’s School and St Matthews CE Primary School. Currently, the athlete is studying sports science at Middlesex University.

Chijindu Ujah was born into a family, who are originally from Nigeria. As per his Wikipedia bio, he has an older sibling.

Both the brothers attended St Matthews CE Primary School and Bishop Stopford’s School. However, most of the information about his older sibling is undercover. 

Chijindu Ujah Suspended For Doping

British Sprinter Chijindu Ujah has been suspended for the doping violation, after winning a silver medal in the 4*100 relay at the Tokyo Olympic Games, according to the  BBC

The test on Chijindu had shown the presence of a prohibited substance named Ostarine and S-23, which are banned under the World Anti-Doping Agency’s list of prohibited substances, as per the Guardian.
