Chloe Gong death news is not true as she is alive and doing very well in her career. However, on Jun 27, 2018, another girl named Chloe Gong and her mother, who is 34, were both declared dead at the hospital.

A five-year-old kindergarten student at a Toronto elementary school was the girl who died in an apparent drowning on Tuesday at Mountain Springs Lodge Resort near Collingwood, Ontario, along with her mother. 

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) claims Chloe Gong attended Iroquois Junior Public School on Chartland Boulevard in Scarborough.

Chloe was a “vibrant student who will be remembered fondly by her friends and teachers,” according to the principal, Marcia Pate.

“This has been a sombre day for all of us at the school as we mourn this tragedy,” she said. “Mother, daughter dead in apparent drowning near Collingwood.” 

The 34-year-old Chloe’s mother’s name has not yet been made public by the police. They were both from Markham, Ontario. Because of the same name, people might have gotten confused.

Gong was born in Shanghai, China, and when she was two years old, her family emigrated to New Zealand.She has an older sister and a younger brother. She attended Rangitoto College and was raised in Auckland, New Zealand’s North Shore.

Gong was raised in New Zealand but was surrounded by Chinese culture at home where he spoke Shanghainese, prepared Chinese food, and observed Chinese holidays.

At the age of 13, Gong started creating novels on her iPad using the Notes app. She produced nine books by the end of 2020, or around one draft each month. 

Gong received a double major in English and International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. Rosalind, a protagonist from the original story, will be followed in a spinoff duology that Gong is also authoring. 

Foul Lady Fortune, the first book of the spinoff duology, was published in the fall of 2022. 

The Kowloon Walled City in China and Antony and Cleopatra from Shakespeare inspired Gong’s first adult fantasy trilogy, which she revealed in November 2021. 

Immortal Longings, the first book in the trilogy, will be published in the summer of 2023.
