Claire Heilig is a 30-year-old country singer from Virginia Beach, Virginia. She is a contestant on NBC’s The Voice season 24.
She has released four singles since 2021. Her first release, a cover of “Something in Orange” by Zach Bryan, has been streamed over 1.2 million times on Spotify.
The country singer has since released a trio of songs, including a pair of Morgan Wallen covers, “Chasin’ You” in 2022 and “Cover Me Up” this year.
Her most recent single is the excellent “What Do You Wear to a Breakup,” which dropped in late April 2023. The song was written by Catherine McGrath.
She also collaborated with Chris Keys on a cover of “I Quit Drinking” by Kelsea Ballerini and LANY.
She appeared on Season 26 of The Bachelor in January 2022. Claire was eliminated in the first week but was at the center of the drama in that episode.
According to Bustle, she was working as Regional Director of Cosmetics at Anne Arundel Dermatology before appearing on The Bachelor.
She previously sang vocals with a Virginia-based band called Southbound and the group’s covers of “What Could’ve Been” (Gone West) and “Mercy” (Brett Young) on YouTube.

Claire Heilig The Voice
Claire Heilig is a contestant in the 24th season of The Voice Blind Auditions. She sang a rendition of “Tennessee Orange” by Megan Moroney.
By the time she hit her final note, coach Gwen Stefani turned around to express interest in having the singer on her team. Though the other judges stayed facing away from Heilig, they gave her encouraging feedback.
“I thought your performance was lovely,” John Legend told Heilig. “My favorite part was how raspy your voice is–that little grit in your voice. I’m so excited for you. You get to work with Gwen Stefani.”
“I’ve got a Barbie doll on my team you guys,” Stefani told the other coaches. “I’m so excited, you’re so cute.”
Horan went on to tell Heilig how lucky Gwen was to have her on her team. “I’m just lucky Reba’s team was full,” Stefani added, nodding to the fact that the country queen, McEntire, didn’t turn around for Heilig.
“The first chord you started singing, I thought, ‘Oh man,’” McEntire said. “Your little gravely voice, it’s really sexy. Your range is wonderful. Best of luck to you and welcome to The Voice.”
