Dan Stones is an amateur sewer and a contestant on The Great British Sewing Bee 2025. The 37-year-old performer from Durham started his sewing journey at the age of 10. By the time Dan was 26, he was crafting his own costumes for his performances and beyond.
Describing his style as ‘off the cuff’, he often starts with a simple idea that transforms into something brilliantly unexpected. He also finds joy in using unconventional materials to create standout pieces.
Dan is the co-owner of Legacy Entertainment and Events, a professional event company.
