David Ornstein is a British sports journalist. He is currently a football correspondent at The Athletic. He joined The Athletic in October 2019. In the role of football correspondent, he is responsible for producing exclusive and original stories and interviews, offering unique insight and analysis. Prior to The Athletic, Ornstein was a sports journalist and correspondent at the BBC for 12 years. He served as a Sports Correspondent from November 2017 – October 2019, a Sports Reporter from December 2013 – November 2017, and a Broadcast Journalist from October 2007 – December 2013.
