Nine years older than Sajitha, Siddique eventually obtained employment as a clerk at the Darul Uloom institution.

We would frequently run across each other, she claims. Eventually, on May 6, 1984, they were wed in the Darul Uloom auditorium. She claims that “the school has played a big role in our lives.”

Three children, Sumaya, Sara, and Sukoon, belong to the couple.

While Sukkon and Sumaya are already married, Sukkon is not.

As he quit his well-paying profession to pursue a career in cinema, she was initially wary of him. But the fact that Siddique lost touch angered her right away.

“There were no phone calls or letters,” she claims. When Siddique unexpectedly left for three months, Sajitha told him she was expecting. She explains, “There was no way I could have told him earlier.”

Instead of assisting when Sajitha was brought to the City Hospital for the delivery, Siddique left with his buddies to watch a movie.

“Cinema is his passion,” she explains. Siddique has a beautiful heart, though. He will continue to converse with someone even if they annoy him.

He does not harbor any grudges. I have never received a reprimand from Siddique. He never loses his composure, even when I’m upset with him.
