Cuneyt Yumakci Biography – Cuneyt Yumakci Wiki
Cuneyt Yumakci is a prominent figure in the world of antiques, known for his appearances on Quest’s Salvage Hunters and BBC’s The Bidding Room. As a co-owner of Rag & Bone Bros, an antiques shop located in Palmers Green, Enfield, Cuneyt has made a name for himself in the antiques community. His background in furniture design, which he studied at Westminster Kingsway College, complements his expertise as an antiques dealer.
Together with his brother, Serkan Yumakci, Cuneyt established the Rag & Bone Bros antiques shop around 2013. The duo is not limited to the UK in their quest for unique and well-crafted items; they explore various parts of the world, with a particular interest in treasures from Germany and Eastern Europe.
Cuneyt is particularly skilled in restoration, a talent he applies within their Palmers Green shop, which features a showroom alongside a dedicated restoration area. This setup allows him to breathe new life into antiques while maintaining their original charm.
According to the Rag & Bone Bros website, “Many of the items we find we restore ourselves at our London-based workshop. Lighting is expertly restored & safety tested before they go up for sale.” The restorations are carefully executed to preserve the character of each piece.
Cuneyt and Serkan are regular contributors to Discovery Quest’s Salvage Hunters: The Restorers, where they collaborate with presenter Drew Pritchard. Their expertise was also spotlighted in the 2025 edition of “Country Living Vintage Home.”
