Dolores went missing from the family’s home on a July night in 1979. She was the mother of four children. 

Her youngest son Paul Wulff, currently an American football coach and a former player, was only 12 years old when Dolores disappeared from their family home in Woodland, California, about 20 miles west of Sacramento.

As per Paul Wikipedia, her body was found in 1979, 48 days after she disappeared. But, it was not correctly identified until 2020.

Dolores Wulff was married to Carl Wulff in 1955.

At her marriage with Carl, her age would have been around 20 years.

A Catholic, she refused to divorce Carl, even though family members claim he threatened her life. He was the prime suspect for her death or her disappearance; it is confusion.

In July 1979, Paul Wulff’s mother disappeared. Paul and his family always believed his father had killed her, but no body was ever found. Then, in October, the CFB coach got a call from a detective.

“I found your mom.”

Janet Wheaton, Dolores’ sister-in-law, describes how Dolores made her promise to take care of her children if anything ever happened to her. 

Dolores had experienced an effortful year. Several family members say they heard Carl menace Dolores’ life, although the police were never notified at her request.

Dolores Wulff was a normal person as we are – she lacks a Wikipedia page but has been mentioned on her son’s Wiki page. 

She went on missing from the family’s home on a July night in 1979. And, as per Paul, her youngest son Wiki page, her body was discovered in 1979, 48 days after her disappearance. 

But, until 2020, her body wasn’t correctly identified.

And her age details are unknown. She was 45 years old when she went missing.

Is She Still Missing Or Found? 

There is confusion going on as Paul’s Wikipedia page says, Dolores’ body was discovered after 48 years of her disappearance and wasn’t identified correctly until 2020.

And, official ESPN news says, last October, 41 years after her disappearance, her son Paul received a phone call from a detective in Benicia, California, about 55 miles south of Woodland, in a neighboring county.

He said: “Hey, well, I just wanted to tell you: I found your mom.”. After this, no news has been cleared about her missing or is she found. We also don’t know if she is dead or alive.
