Eric Morgan of age 22 has been charged with a fatal shooting of a Chicago Police officer. Find in detail about the case.

Yesterday, on Monday 9th August, the Chicago Police Department declared charges in opposition to two brothers in link with Saturday night’s fatal shooting that resulted in a 29-year-old police officer, Ella French.

Eric and his brother, Emonte, were accused of the charge.

On a press conference Monday, Chicago Police Supt. David Brown said Emonte Morgan got charged with one count of first-degree murder, two counts of ventured murder of a police officer, and illegal weapon use.

Eric got charged with illegal use of a weapon by a culprit and one count of exasperate unlawful use of a firearm with an earlier sentence.

Eric Morgan Brother & Parents

Eric Morgan’s younger brother is Emonte Morgan.

They are currently charged with murder a police officer and injuring another for his life and death.

Morgan brothers and a woman were in a vehicle stopped by police on Chicago’s South Side Saturday night when gunfire explode. The reason why the car was stopped or what unfolded before the shooting is yet to be known.

Officers stopped the vehicle just after 9 pm when a male passenger opened fire. 

Details regarding their parents and family members are yet to be known. 

Eric Morgan Arrested

Eric, along with his brother, is charged with killing a female police officer and is arrested recently.

Morgan brothers are scheduled to appear in a Cook County bond court on Tuesday.
