Erika Jayne finally set the record straight about her flirty encounter with Summer House’s Jesse Solomon.

Rumors about a hookup started circulating last month when photos surfaced of the two at a private cocktail party in New York City. According to an anonymous source from People magazine, Jesse and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Erika Jayne, met for the first time at a rehearsal for the NBCUniversal Upfronts presentation on May 12. The insider mentioned that the pair hit it off immediately and later allegedly hooked up after Jesse’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 14.

Speculations grew among many, including Summer House’s Amanda Batula. Erika had chosen not to address the alleged hookup publicly until a turning point occurred during the June 13 episode of Diamonds in the Rough, Erika’s podcast show with RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp.

“I guess you allegedly made out with Jesse,” Teddi told her co-host.

Erika clarified the situation during the podcast, stating that the alleged hookup was rumored to have occurred at Watch What Happens Live in New York City after the Upfronts, but she was actually at home. She admitted to flirting with two men at the Upfronts and jokingly mentioned that she would have preferred to take both men home instead of just one.

Erika revealed that the second man was Jesse’s castmate Carl Radke, who was also photographed with Erika in New York City.

“Oh, I love both of them,” Teddi said about the Summer House men. “OK, so you have to pick one.”

“I can’t,” Erika replied. “But my point is… for once in a decade, I actually talked to people that we work with, because I’m such a bitch every other time. You know me. But I’m trying to do more social things.” 

While there was no “hookup,” Erika said she thought Jesse and Carl were both easy on the eyes. 

“They’re both cute, but the taller one is cuter,” she continued. “I wish I had something exciting to tell you, but I don’t.”

It’s unclear which of the Hamptons Housemates Erika thought was more attractive, as they both stand 6 feet, 5 inches tall.

Erika shed more light on her romantic life in a January interview with The Daily Dish. The mother of one, who has yet to finalize her divorce from Tom Girardi, said she had spent time focusing on self-care and was at a stage where she was ready to date again.

“I have done a lot of work on myself and pulling myself together, rebuilding my life,” she said. “[It’s] a time to be open and to have fun.”
